In the Name of God Amen I John French of the Parish of Woolwich in the County of Kent Plumber & Glazier being weak in Body but of perfect Mind and Memory (blessed be God) do this ninth day of July in the thirty fourth Year of the Reign of Our Sovereign Lord George the Third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith etc. And the Year of our Lord 1794 make Publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say)

Imprimis I give and bequeath unto my Wife Mary French if living the Sum of One Pound one shilling

Item I give and bequeath unto my Housekeeper Mary Newey all my Cash Stock in Trade Book Debts Household Goods Wearing Apparel Goods and Chattels or whatsoever else I may be possessed of at the time of my decease for her own sole use and behoof

Lastly I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint Mary Newey my Housekeeper aforesaid my sole Executrix to this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all former Wills and Testaments by me at any time heretofore made

In Witness whereof I the said John French have to this my last Will and Testament set my Hand and Seal the day and date above written John French
