This is the last Will and Testament of me William Friend of the Town and Port of Sandwich in the County of Kent Draper I being of sound Mind and Memory

First I give and bequeath unto my Wife Margaret Friend and her Assigns for and during her natural Life the Sum of two hundred and twenty Pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain
And from and immediately after the Decease of my said Wife I give and bequeath the said Sum of two hundred and twenty Pounds unto and amongst all and every the Children of my Brothers Thomas Friend and John Friend and my late Brothers Daniel Friend and Robert Friend that shall be living at the Time of the Decease of my said Wife equally to be divided between them Share and Share alike and to their Exors Admors and Assigns

Also I give and devise to my said Wife Margaret Friend and her Assigns for and during the Term of her natural Life All those my two Messuages or Tenements with the Barn Stable Outhouses Buildings Yard Garden Orchard and Land Arable Meadow and Pasture thereunto belonging or therewith now used occupied and enjoyed containing by Estimation six Acres more or less with their Appurtenances situate lying and being in the Parish of Great Mongeham in the County of Kent and now or late in the Tenure or Occupation of Edward Wanstall William Paramor and George Drury their Assigns or Under Tenants

And from and immediately after the Decease I give and devise the said my two Messuages or Tenements with the Barn Stable Outhouses Buildings Yard Garden Orchard Land and Premises unto and amongst all and every the Children of my said Brothers Thomas Friend and John Friend and my said late Brothers Daniel Friend and Robert Friend that shall be living at the Time of the Decease of my said Wife equally to be divided between them Share and Share alike to take as Tenants in common and not as joint Tenants and to their Heirs and Assigns for ever

All the Rest and Residue of my Estate whatsoever and wheresoever as well real as personal I give devise and bequeath unto my said Wife Margaret Friend and to her Heirs Exors Admors and Assigns for ever

And I do constitute and appoint my said Wife Margaret Friend sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament And hereby revoke all former Wills by me made
