In the Name of God Amen I James Frost of the Parish of Woolwich in the County of Kent Captain in the Royal Regiment of Artillery being somewhat infirm in body but of sound Mind Memory and Understanding do make and ordain my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say
First I desire to be decently interred at the discretion of my Executor hereinafter named and as to my effects wherewith I may die possessed of I give and bequeath the same as follows

First I give and bequeath to Elizabeth Blake of Woolwich Common in the County of Kent Spinster my gold Watch and Shirt Pin in Consideration of her great Care and attention to me during my Illness
I likewise give and bequeath to my Friend Lieut Thomas Sutton of the Royl Artillery a Gold Ring which I generally wore as a token of my Esteem

and as to all the rest and residue of my Effects whatsoever I give and bequeath to the said Thomas Sutton In Trust
that he do immediately after my decease sell and dispose of the same for the most Money that can be got and by and with the Monies arising from such sale first to pay and discharge my Funeral Expences and Lodgings and after which if there should be any Monies remaining to pay and discharge my just debts as far as it will go

And I do hereby nominate and appoint the said Thomas Sutton to be Executor to this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made and do declare this to be my last Will

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty fifth day of April in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty three James Frost
