The last will and Testament nuncupative of John Gale late whilst he lived of the parish of Wingham in the Countie of Kent a batchelour deceased some certaine yeares before his death but at a time when he lay very weake and sicke of bodie and yet was in good and perfect mind and memorie in these words followinge or the very like in effect and substance That is to say

He the said John Gale beinge sensible of his then weake condition and upon that consideration minded to make his will and dispose of the estate said that he gave to his sister’s children four pounds equally to be divided

Also that he gave to Mr John Nicholls and Mr Nicholas Shadwell his partners or fellow servants each of them a ringe of gold

And that he gave all the rest of his estate or whatsoever he had beside unto Mr Francis Plomer then present
And that he made him his Executor
In the psence and hearinge of those whose names are subscribed who though often conversant with the said John Gale never heard him afterwards revoke this his will or speake of any other to his dyinge day but both then and at other times before and afterwards heard him expresse much love and respect towards the said Mr Plomer as his especiall friend and old acquaintance

In witnesse whereof and of all the promises they have hereunto subscribed the foure and twentieth day of March in the yeare of our Lord (after the English account) one thousand sixe hundred Fiftie and five
