In the Name of God Amen I Peter Gay of the Parish of St Paul’s Cray in the County of Kent Miller being in present in good health of body and of sound and perfect mind memory and understanding (Thanks be given to God for the same) do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say)
First and Principally I commend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God my Creator and of Jesus Christ my Redeemer Stedfastly believeing through the Merits of his Death and Righteousness to have free Pardon and Remission of all my Sins and to be made Partaker of that Heavenly Kingdom which he hath prepared from the beginning of the World for all those that love and fear him My Body being but Earth I commit to the Earth in hopes of a joyfull Resurrection to Life Eternal the same to be decently interred at the discretion of my Executrix hereinafter named

And as for that Temporal Estate which the Lord hath lent unto me in my Pilgrimage here upon Earth whether the same be Real or Personal or of whatsoever other Nature or Quality the same may be of or consist in (all my just Debts and Funeral Charges being first thereout paid and satisfyed) I give devise and bequeath the same unto my Dear and loving Friend Roze Margaret Savignac of the Parish of Saint Paul’s Cray Spinster her Executors Administrators and Assignes for ever

And I do here by make constitute and appoint the said Roze Margaret Savignac full and sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament
And I do hereby revoke annull and make void all former Will or Wills by me heretofore made and declare this only to be my last Will and Testament which shall stand and be in full form untill I revoke the same by Writing under my hand and Seale and no Nuncupative Will to stand in force or to be taken as a Codicil or Part of this my Will

In Witness whereof I the said Peter Gay have hereunto set my hand and seal this seventeenth day of September in the Eighth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so forth And in the Year of Our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Thirty four Peter Gay
