I the name of God Amen
I Samuell George of uenkerdowne? [underdowne?] in the parishe of Chartham thoughe weake and ill of Body but yet of pfect [perfect] minde and memory do make and declare my last will and testament in manner & forme following
And first I bequeath my Soule into the hands of the eveliving God my maker and to Jesus Christe my only Saviour and Redeemer by whose death and passion I only hope to be saved

Item I will and bequeath unto Mary my wife all my househould stuffe during her naturall life

Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary ten pounds of lawfull money of England to be payed unto her by my executor by five pounds a yeare untill the said sume be payed wthin one yeare after my decease

Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Ursula xxt [£20] to be payed unto her after my daughter Marys part is discharged Five pounds every quarter untill her said legacy of twenty pounds be fully payed & discharged

Item I make and ordaine my sonne James my sole Executor and to have the benefit of all my lands and other dutyes belonging unto me untill my debts legacies and other severall charges be fully p’formed and done

And in Witnes hereunder I have set my hand and seale
And I do desire my Brother James George and Thomas Drayton to see this my will p’formed according to true intent and meaning

Dated this 12th day of July In the nineteenth yeare of the raigne of our Souvraigne Lord Charles by the grace of God King of England Scotland France & Ireland Defender of the faith, etc. [1643]

Children of Samuell George (all Christened at St. Mary, Chartham):
30-Mar 1601 Nicholas; 04-Mar 1603/4 John; 21-Dec 1606 Mary; 29-Mar 1609/10 James; 26-Jun 1614 Ursilla.
Samuell was baptised at Chartham 10-Oct 1568 son of Nicholas. See will of Nicholas 1595.
