As for my worldly goods I give and bequeath unto my wife Isabell the two Joyned bedsteddles
standinge in the Chamber over the Parleur [Parlour] sufficiently furnished in such manner as shee shall
thinke fitt and appoint And the new Ehice Chest standinge in the same Chamber And one other chest
standinge neare the Chimney in the same Chamber And one other chest standinge without the doore of
the said Chamber And one joyned presse standinge in the Red chamber one little Joyned Chest
standinge beside the same presse one little Joyned table and one little Joyned boxe of firre? standinge
in the same Chamber with all the goods in the severall chests and presses
Item I give unto my said wife two brasse potts and one stupnett and halfe A dozen of Joyned Stooles att her choice
Item all the residue of my moveable goods Cattle Chattells Credits and Dents whatsoever and wheresoever I give will and bequeath into my two sonnes James and Thomas George whome I make Executors to and of this my last will and testament equally to bee shifted and divided betwixt them
Conditionally That my said two sonnes and Executors doe enter into one obligacon of the summe of Two hundred pounds for the true payment of Twentie pounds by the yeare halfe yearly to bee paid at the to usuall feasts of Thannunciation [The Annunciation] of the blessed Virgin Mary and Saint Michaell Thearchangell [The Archangel] unto the above named Isabell my wife for and duringe the time of her naturall life if shee shall soe longe keepe her selfe my widdowe But in case shee be marridd to anothr man after my decease Then but to have the summe of tenne pounds by the yeare to be paid her in manner aforesaid

This Will was proved att London before the Judges for probate of Wills and grantinge administrasons [administrations] Lawfully authorized the foure and twentieth day of October in the yeare of our Lord one thousand sixe hundred Fiftie five by the oath of James and Thomas George the naturall and lawfull Sonnes of the said deceased and Joynte Executors therein name To whom was committed Administrason of all and singular the said deceaseds gods chattells and debts; They beinge first sworne by virtue of a Commission issued out in that behalfe well and truely to administer the same
Notes:
James George died in 1655 but, as it is in the Commonwealth, his burial is not found (most likely at St. Mary, Chartham).
Isabell George, Widow, died and is buried at Chartham on 21st June 1666.
James George married Isabel Smith on 27th April 1619 at Chartham. (Given as Esabell.)

07-May 1620 Elizabeth (Bu: 8 May 1633); 09-Dec 1621 James; 01-Jan 1624 Sybilla; 25-Jun 1626 Thomas;
02-Oct 1630 Anne (Bu: 6 Oct).
Son James George died and is buried at Chartham on 8th November 1681.
Son Thomas George married Dorothy Mantle at Chartham on 21st May 1650.
