In the Name of God Amen
I Mary George of the parish of Woodchurch in the County of Kent Widdow being infirme of Body but of sound and perfect mind and memory thanks be to God for the same, and calling to mind the short and uncertainty of this mortal life I do make ordain publish and declare this to be my last will and testament on this Fourth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and thirty three in manner following, Vizt.
First and principally I recommend my soul to God hoping for Redemption through my Lord and saviour Jesus Christ and my body to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executor hereinafter mentioned

Imprimis I give & bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Pope of Rasoeisden? the sume of Five shillings
Item I give to my deceased Son Richard Georges children the sume of Five shillings to be equally divided amongst them
Item I give to my niece Mary George daughter of my Son Peter George one pair of my best sheets and one silver spoon

Item I give to my Son Peter George my Silver Cup mark(ed) J.M.C. to who(m) also I give the sum of ten pounds in lawful money to defray my funeral charges and expences

Item I give to my daughter Mary Ottawy of Smarden and my daughter in law Ann George* of Woodchurch all the rest and residue of my household stuff Goods bonds Bills plate and Rings and other Goods and wearing appearel [apparel] to be equally divided between them after such Legacies as are above mentioned be delivered and paid out of the same [* Ann wife of Peter George]

I give to my only son Peter George aforesaid his heirs Executors Administrators or assigns forever all that my Messuage and Tenement together with all the Lands Hereditaments rights members and appurtenances thereto belonging or letten therewith scituate lying and being in Woodchurch in the County of Kent and now in the occupation of Edward Barse or of his assigns

And I nominate constitute and appoint my said only son Peter George to be the sole Executor of this my last will and testament
And lastly (I) revoake all former wills and declare this only to be my last will and testament

In Witness whereof I the said Mary George have to this my last will and testament contained in this sheet of paper set my hand and seal the day and year above written.

Proved on 19th June 1736, probate granted to Peter George, the son.

Notes:
Mary George died and was buried at Woodchurch on 3rd February 1736, Widow.
John George and Mary Pown married 18th August 1681 at St. Mary the Virgin, High Halden. He was a Widower of Woodchurch; She: a Virgin, otp., whose parents were dead.
Their children (all christened at Woodchurch):
25-Jul 1682 Richard; 08-Nov 1682 John (Bu.: 27 Jan 1685); 28-Aug 1684 Mary; 05-Jul 1686 Peter; 28-Jun 1691 John (Bu.: 8 Mar 1694); 21-Jun 1693 Elizabeth; 15-Jan 1697 John (Bu.: 16 Mar 1697).
John George was buried at All Saints, Woodchurch on 13th January 1728.
His Will is: PRC 32/60/349a Will of John George, Taylor of Woodchurch dated 6th July 1722 and Proved 23rd May 1728
Son Peter George married Ann Lawrence 24th October 1709 at Kenardington. He was a Husbandman of Woodchurch, she a spinster of Warehorne.

Sep 1714); 26-Apr 1713 Elizabeth; 26-Sep 1714 Mary; 24-Oct 1715 Ann (Bu.: 12 Nov 1715); 02-Jun 1717 Ann; 14-Sep 1718 Susanna; 04-Sep 1720 Peter (Bu.: 18 Mar 1721); 21-Feb 1722 Sarah; 06-Jun 1724 Peter; 24-Jul 1726 John (Bu.: 13 Jan 1728); 26-Aug 1727 Richard (Bu.: 4 Sep 1727); 27-Oct 1728 Margaret; 12-Sep 1731 George (Bu.: 22 Jun 1735).
Son Richard George married Elizabeth Martin on 21st April 1713 at St. Mary the Virgin, Ebony, Isle of Oxney. He was Husbandman; She was a Spinster - both of Wittersham.
Their children (all christened at Rolvenden):
05-Aug 1716 Richard (Bu.: 13 Aug 1716); 28-Dec 1717 Elizabeth; 25-Dec 1720 Richard; 01-Jan 1723 Mary.
