I give and bequeath unto Daniel the Son of Daniel George of Bethersden in the said County the Sum of
Forty pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain
And I give and bequeath unto James the Son of James George of Woodchurch in the said County the
Sum of Forty pounds of like Money
and unto Margaret Lucy and Elizabeth daughters of the said James George the Sum of Forty pounds each of like Money
And I give and bequeath unto John Hukins of Woodchurch aforesaid Yeoman the Sum of Five ponds of like Money
All which said several Legacies I do hereby direct shall be paid by my Executor and Executrix hereinafter
named within six Calendar Months after my decease.
And as to all the Rest Residue and Remainder of my ready Money Securities for Money Goods Chattels Effects and Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature kind or quality soever the same may be after payment of all my just debts Funeral Expenses the Costs and Charges of making and proving this my Will and other incidental Expences and the several Legacies hereinbefore by me given and bequeathed I give and the same unto Edward Court of Mersham aforesaid and Ann his wife their Executors Admors. [Administrators] and Assigns absolutely and for ever
And I do nominate and appoint the said Edward Court and Ann his Wife Executor and Executrix of this my Will and I do make void all former and other Wills ad Codicils by me at any time heretofore made

This Will was proved at London the ninth day of October in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and ninety eight before the Right Honorable Sir William Wynne Knight Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the Oaths of Edward Court and Ann Court (Wife of the said Edward Court) the Executors named in the said Will to whom administration was granted of al and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased having been first sworn by Commission duly to Administer
Notes:
Richard George was buried at St. John the Baptist, Mersham on 1st October 1798.
Richard George married Susanna Quihampton on 22nd November 1752 at St. John the Baptist, Mersham.
Susanna George was buried at Mersham on 16th October 1783. There appear to have been no children of this marriage.
Daniel George (s. of Daniel as mentioned in the Will) was christened at All Saints, Woodchurch on 23rd
August 1750, s. of Daniel and Margaret George.
Daniel George married Margaret Toppant on 20th August 1743 at Woodchurch. Son Daniel appears to have been their only child.
James George (s. of James, as also mentioned in the Will) was christened at Woodchurch on 24th
February 1750, s. of James and Mary George.
James George (senior) married Mary Blackley on 12th October 1740 at Woodchurch.
Their children (all christened at Woodchurch):
16-Dec 1744 Margaret; 24-Feb 1751 James; 28-Jun 1752 Richard; 02-Jun 1754 Lucy; 06-Jun 1756 Mary; 11-Jul 1758 Elizabeth.
Richard - with siblings James and Daniel - were all the children of Daniel and Elizabeth George of Woodchurch, christened thus:
23-Jul 1702 Margaret; 29-Sep 1705 Mary; 14-Mar 1707 John; 14-Dec 1708 Daniell; 10-Mar 1714 James;
23-Aug 1716 Richard; 18-Mar 1720 Thomas.
Daniel George married Elizabeth Austin 19th October 1701 at Woodchurch. Both were otp.
