I Moses Gilbert of the Parish of Erith in the County of Kent of sound mind declare this my last will and testament viz.

After the payment of all my just debts I give and bequeath to my affectionate wife Jane Charlotte Gilbert all my freehold estate situate at Herring Hill in the Parish of Erith and all my stock thereon & belonging thereto for the duration of her natural life
and at her decease it is my wish that the said Estate & stock thereon & belonging thereto be sold and equally divided amongst my children and their heirs

Furthermore I desire that all my other property and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever situated be sold and equally divided amongst my children or their heirs

In Witness whereto I subscribe my name M Gilbert March 31st 1846

Codicil I give and bequeath to my dear wife Jane Charlotte Gilbert all my furniture plate linen & household effects for her own use and benefit and also one hundred pounds to be paid for her immediate use

and I appoint Mr William Palmer of Gt Dover Road and Mr Willm Crafter of Stamford Street London to be Executors
