Item I give and bequeath unto my sonne George Gyles the armour, scarfe and seale ringe, which was his fathers, two silver spoones, two angels, my best table cloth and a dozen of napkins, also a paire of sheetes that were his uncle George Belkes, if they can be knowne if not, another paire instead of them.
Alsoe I will and bequeath unto my daughter Anne Gyles, all my child bed linen, one bearinge blanket, my best parie of pillowebeares, and my silver pin, my best peticote with all my wearinge linen, and my weddinge ringe, and my blacke silke girdle, my best tablecloth save one and a dozen of napkins: alsoe my fifteene shillinge peece and an angell, and hir paire of sheetes with a square diaper tablecloth and half a dozen of diaper napkins.
Alsoe I will unto my godsone Valentine Belke, and to my cosen William Belke, each of them a
crowne of golde
and unto Sarah Spice the servante of my brother John Belke, ten shillings
and unto the poore of the parish of Sheldwich, twenty shillings
And unto Anne Wanstall the wife of William Wanstall five shillings
and unto Mary March and the widowe Wilson of the parish of Sheldwich each of them an old peticote.
And unto Idden Rigden my servante five shillings.
Also I give unto my brother John Belke a ringe with deathes head upon it.
Item I will and bequeath unto my daughter Francis Gyles, two angels.
And I give and bequeath unto my two said daughters Anne and Francis the annuity due unto me out of the parsonage
of Molish, with all my other goods and chattels whatsoever equally to be devided betweene them.
Provided allwayes that if it shall soe happen that either of my said daughters departe this life before they be one and
twenty yeares of age, and unmarried, then my will and minde is that hir sister shall have hir parte, and
if it soe come to pas that both my said daughters should dy, before they be married, or be one and
twenty yeares of age, my will is that my sonne George shall be heire to the surviver of them: And if it
should please God, that they should all three dy, before either of them be married or live unto the time
of one and twenty yeares of age, that then the said goods shall be equally devided amonge my brothers
children together with the said annuity.
And I make and ordeine my brother Jhon Belke, my whole executor of this my will and testament, to have the orderinge and government of my said children and goods, until they come unto the yeares and age before mentioned.
And if it should soe please God that my said brother should departe this life, before my said children accomplish their severall ages, before specified, then my will and mind is that Henry Hauker and Avery Gyles of the parish of Challocke, shall have the like orderinge and government of my said children and goods, until the come unto the yeares and age before mentioned.
