In the Name of God Amen I Edwd Gosling of Maidstone in the County of Kent Coal Merchant and Soap maker being at this time perfectly well in health and of sound mind and memory do at this time with my own hand Writing make and ordain this to be my last Will and Testament which I make in the manner and form following that is to say
First I recommend my Soul into the Hands of Almighty God who gave it and my body I commit to the Earth to be decently but privately Interred at the discretion of my Executor herein after named

And as to my Worldly Estate of what kind soever it consists of either Real or Personal
I make over all and singular to my Nephew Edwd Gosling Perrywigg maker in Fenchurch Building London to be by him sold and disposed of to pay of all and every singular just Debts of whatsoever kind I shall then owe

and as to what shall remain after all my just Debts are fully paid and satisfied either in money or Effects of any kind whatsoever
I give and bequeath unto my said Nephew Edwd Gosling Perrywigg maker in Fenchurch Building London
he paying my Sister Eliz: Gosling now at this time living with me Yearly and every Year so long as she the said Eliz: Gosling shall live at two half Yearly payments the first to be paid in six months after my decease and so on every half year as long as she lives the full Interest at five per Cent of the full half part of what money or Effects shall be left to him the said Edwd Gosling my Executor after all Debts are discharged

Also I give and bequeath unto my Sister Susan Forester and my neice Elizabeth Gosling and Susan Gosling my Neice one Guinea each

And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said Nephew Edwd Gosling Perrywigg maker in Fenchurch Building London my full and Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament and I hereby revoke and make void all former Wills by me made and I do declare this Writing to contain to be my last Will and Testament

In Witness whereof I the said Edwd Gosling have hereunto set my hand and Seal this seventh day of June in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty four Edward Gosling
