In the Name of God Amen The Third day of June One Thousand Sixe Hundred Sixty nine according to the Computation of the Church of England
I Simon Gouldwell of Maidstone in the County of Kent Curryour (Currier) being of perfect memorie and Remembrance, praised be God, doe make and ordaine this my last will and testament, in manner and form Following (vixt)
First I bequeath my soule into the hands of Almighty God my Maker hopeing that through the Meritorious death and passion of Jesus Christ my only saviour and redeemer to receive free pardon and forgivenesse of all my sins; and as for my body to be buried at the discretion of my Executrix hereafter mentioned

Item I give and bequeath unto my son Edmond Gouldwell the Ten pounds of lawfull mony of England which hew oweth me
Item I give and bequeath unto my son Simon Gouldwell the summe of Forty poundes of Lawfull money of England to be paid by my Executrix to him halfe a year after my decease
Item I give and bequeath unto my said son Simon Gouldwell all my working Tooles belonging to my Trade

Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Jane Olive the summe of five shillings of lawfull money of England to be paid by my Executrix halfe a yeare after my decease
Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Alce Gouldwell Forty pounds of lawfull money of England to be paid by my Executrix halfe a yeare after my decease with one bed and Bedsteedle & curtaines
Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Elizabeth Gouldwell the sum of Forty pounds of Lawfull money of England to be paid her by my executrix halfe a yeare after my decease

Item i give unto my son Thomas Gouldwell my House and land with all the Appurtenances there unto belonging lying in Newheed in the p[ar]ish of East Malling in the County of Kent after the death of my loveing Wife Sarah
Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Susanah Gouldwell the sum of Five shillings of Good and Lawfull money of England to be paid by my Executrix to her halfe a yeare after my Decease

Item I give and bequeath all other my Goods and Chattles lands and premisses not all ready given and bequeathed unto my loveing Wife Sarah whome I make and ordaine my sole & whole Executrix of this my last will and Testament Revoking both in word and deed all former Wills & Testaments whatsoever willing and requiring her to p’forme this my will & testament by paying such debts as Justly I owe to an p[er]son and the Legacies herein bequeathed

Simon Gouldwell Curryor was buried at All Saints, Maidstone, Kent on 16 Sep 1669.
Simon Gouldwell firstly married Susan Paine 21 Aug 1620, All Saints, Maidstone.
Their known children: 6 Feb 1624/5 Thomas (Bu. 20 Feb 1624/5); 22 Jan 1625/26 Edmund; 25 Jan 1628/9 Abraham; 19 Jan 1633/4 Abraham; 27 Jan 1637/8 Mary – all baptised at Maidstone.
Susan Gouldwell, wife of Simon was buried at All Saints, Maidstone on 23 Nov 1638.
Simon/Symon Gouldwell/Gouldhill then married Elizabeth Hunt 29 Sep 1639 at All Saints, Maidstone, Kent.
Their children: 24 Nov 1641 Alice; 6 Nov 1642 Daniel; 6 Oct 1643 Symon; Feb. 1646 Elizabeth – all baptised at Maidstone.
Elizabeth Goldwell, wife of Simon, was buried 19 Mar 1653 at All Saints, Maidstone.
Simon Goldwell, widower, thirdly married Sara Watts, Spinster, on 8 Sep 1653 at St. Lawrence/St. Nicholas, Allington (near Maidstone), Kent.
Their known children: 28 Jul 1654 Thomas; 2 Jun 1656 Susan – both baptised at Maidstone.
Sarah Goldwell, widow, then married David Bodiam, widower, Cordwainer, on 3 Dec 1669 at All Saints, Maidstone, by Licence.
