In the Name of God Amen The Eighteenth day of February in the fourth yeare of the Reigne of our Soveraigne Lord James the Second King of England &c. Anno Dini 1687
I Timothy Grames of the Towne of Folkestone in the County of Kent Fisherman being weake in body but by reason of my age but of good and p[er]fect minde and memory praised be God doe make this my last will and Testament in manner and forme following
First I bequeath my soule to God that gave it and my body to the earth from whence it came to be buried att the discretion of my executor hereafter named

Item I give unto my sonne in law William Hall Senr. Fisherman the sume of Six pounds of lawfull money of England to be paid within Six monthes after my decease by my Exector hereafter named
Item I give unto my daughter Sarah now wife of William Hall one dwelling house with a small lodge thereto belonging wherein Peter Gittens Junr late dwelt during her naturall life with a small backside with the use of my well
and after her decease to her two daughters Rebecca and Mary and to their heires and Assignes forever

Item I give unto my sonne in law William Hall and to my two grandsonnes Timothy and Thomas Gittens one third part of a small Fisherboate called the Greesy Coate with all my part in the furniture thereof equally to be devided

Item I give unto my daughter Elizabeth Gittens one Tenement and small Cove with the use of my Well which house or Tenement is scituate in Folkestone Towne and now in the Occupation of Isaac Whittingham for and during her naturall life
and after her decease unto my Grandaughter Elizabeth Gittens and to her heires for ever

Item I give unto my sonn William Hall and my grandsons Timothy and Thomas Gittens two and twenty Maycarell [Mackerel] netts equally to be devided betweene them
Item I give and bequeath unto my sonne in law William Hall and to my grandsons Timothy and Thomas Gittens nine peices of herring nett equally to be devided betweene them

Item I give to my grandchilde Sarah Gittens the sume of twenty shillings to be paid within six monthes after my decease
Item I give unto my Grandaughter Mary Gittens the Sume of Thirty shillings to be paid within six monthes after my decease
Item I give unto my grandchilde Alice Gittens twenty shillings to be paid within six monthes after my decease

Item I give and bequeath all the rest of my goods and chattells and houshold, excepting one pair of sheets, a peece of some Strake? and some? give? unto (my) Six grandaughters before menconed, unto my Grandsonn Thomas Gittens whome I make and appointe my Sole Executor of this my will revoakeing all former wills by me made, he paying my debts legacies and funerall expences

Probatum fuit: 1st September 1688

Note:
Timothy Grames was buried on 7th August 1688 at Folkestone recorded in the monthly meeting records of the Society of Friends (Quakers).
The actual entry reads: The 7th of ye 6th month 1688 was Timothy Grames buried in friends burying place in Folkestone.
