In the Name of God Amen this present fowerteenth daie of August in the Two and twentieth yeare of the Raigne of Our Soveraigne Lord Charles by the Grace of God Kinge of England Scotland France and Ireland defender of the Faithe etc one thousand six hundred fortie six
I Henry Greenstreat of Godmersham in the Countie of Kent Miller being sicke in body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be God doe make this to bee my present Testament and last Will in manner and forme following.
First I doe comitt and commend my Soule unto the Blessed Trinity in Unitie God Almighty hoping and stedfastly believing of the free pardon of all my sinns in and by the meritorious Passion of my alone Saviour Jesus Christs second person in the Trinity.
I doe leave my bodie to be buried where God shall give leave in Christian Buriall there to rest until the general resurrection.

I will unto the children I have by my first wife that are now living twelve pence a piece at the age of one and twentie yeares.
And all the Rest and Residue of my money goods moveables household cattell Chattells and personal Estate whatsoever, my Debts Legacies and Buriall first discharged I will unto Elizabeth Greenstreat my nowe beloved wife whome I doe make to bee my whole and onely Executrix of this my last Will and Testament.

This also I doe make to bee my last Will and Testament of all that my Annuitie or yearly Rent of three pounds by the yeare I have issuing and going out of one Mill with th'appurtenances called Fload? Myll being situate within the Parish of Faversham in the said Countie of Kent and given to mee Henry Greenstre and my Heires by Henry Greenstreat my deceased father as in his last Will lawfully proved to bee seene And I doe will my said Annuitie or yearly Rent of three pounds by the yeare unto the said Elizabeth Greenstreet my said beloved wife and Executrix unto her the said Elizabeth and her Heires and Assignes to be sold for the best price the better whereby my Debts Legacies and Buriall may bee discharged and paied. And for and toward the better enabling my said wife to bring upp my children that are young and not yet able to live of themselves,

with which if my said wife may be able by Gods blessing to pay my said Debts Legacies and Buriall and to give maintenance unto my said children until they may be putt forth Then if it may appeare anie thing to remayne of my whole Estate Personall or Annuitie or Yearly Rent the same after the death of my said wife I will to be portioned to the children shee hath by mee living at the tyme of her death and to bee equally shifted betweene them and none else to have anie parte thereof.

This I doe publish and declare to bee my present Testament and last Will hereby revoking all other Wills by mee att anytime formerly made.
