In the Name of God Amen I John Greenstreet of the Towne of Faversham in the Countie of Kent Gent. beinge sicke in body but of perfect memory thanks bee unto God doe make and ordaine this to bee my last Will and Testament in manner1and forme followinge.vizt.
First I bequeath my Soule unto God and my Body to the Earth from whence itt was taken to bee buried at the discretion of my Executrix in sure and certayne hope to rise againe at the last day through the Meritts of Jesus Christ my Saviour. And for my worldly Goods which the Goodwill of God hath lent unto mee I will and bequeath them as now followeth.

Imprimus I give and bequeath unto my only sonne John three hundred pounds of good and lawfull money of England to bee paid unto my said sonne John at the age of one and twenty yeares.
Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth two hundred pounds of the like lawfull money of England to bee paid unto her by my Executrix at the age of twenty yeares or Day of Marriage which shall first happen.
And further my mynde and will is that if it shall happen that either of the said children should die and depart this naturall life before accomplishing of the tyme lymitted for the payment of the aforesaid porcions that the party surviving shalbe the heire to the party soe deceased.
And moreover if itt shall happen that both my said children should die before the accomplishing the ages and tymes lymitted for the payment of theire porcions aforesaid that then my mynde and will is and I doe give everyone of myne and my wyfes brothers of our Mothers boddyes lawfully begotten or soe many of them as shalbe then living twenty poundes a peece except my Brother Michaell Greenstreet to whom I give thirty poundes.

Item and further I give unto my Sister Tong twenty poundes.
Item I give unto my Father Thomas Greenstreet the Lease of the Towne Drawth of the Towne and Liberty of Faversham to bee delivered unto him by my Executrix within eight weeks after my decease hee my said Father standing engaged for the payment of the Rent to the Towne.
And in case my said Father make default in paying the said Rent at any time duringe the tearme of the Lease that then it shalbe lawfull for my said Executrix to seize upon the said Lease and all the appurtenances and the same enjoy.

Item My mynde and will is that if it shall happen that both my said children shall die before the accomplishing of the age aforesaid my said Executrix shall have the use of the said money bequeathed to my said two children during her naturall life. And after her decease the money abovesaid to be disposed and employed to the uses above said.
Item I give and bequeath unto my nowe Mother Greenstreet six pounds of lawfull money of England to bee paid unto her within the space of six weeks after my decease.

Item I give and bequeath unto my well beloved wife Anne, whome I make and ordayne by these presents my sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament, all my goods and chattles whatsoever within doors and without except the Lease before mentioned shee the said Anne my Executrix paying and dischargeinge all my debts and Legacies and funerall charges according to my true intent and meaning.

And for further testimony hereof I the said I John Greenstreet of the Towne and Liberty of Faversham in the Countie of Kent Gent. doe publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament revoking all former other Wills.
In Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my Hand and Seale to theise two sheets the third Day of February in the Yeare of Our Lord God one thousand six hundred forty eight.
And I doe further appoynte my Cousen Thomas Napleton and John Knowler of the said Towne to bee Overseers of this my last Will and Testament.
