I also give unto her Harriet Hayter the house No. 9 Harbour Street Ramsgate now occupied by Mr Edward Young to her and her heirs and assigns for ever should she continue with us and be our survivor as above in this case I appoint her her own sole Executrix
And now be it further understood respecting four houses in Hertford Place Ramsgate being Nos. 3, 4, 5, 6 should they or any part of them remain not disposed of then and not before the death of my wife Elizabeth Green we both then do agree that they are to be sold for the benefit of the 5 children that is 1 daughter and 4 sons of the late Jonothan Clark of Headcorn in Kent who died on the 30th December 1825 and the money to be divided in equal shares to the 5 children if living or in equal shares to those who at the time may be surviving and for so doing I hereby appoint as the Executors Mr George Daynes of Frittenden farmer and Edward Young boot & shoe maker of Ramsgate and Harriet Hayter as assistant then the Executors are to sell by private sale or auction to the best advantage they can soon as convenient or within 6 months if required Harriet Hayter receiving the first quarter rent after that time all the rents and money arising from the sale of the property first deducting the executors expences and all charges then the remainder of the money to be divided to the above said children equally
And now lastly be it understood should Harriet Hayter survive us she will be her own
Heir but if otherwise which is not likely but not impossable she may not survive Mrs
Green then in that case my wife Elizabeth Green will have power to give to her heirs
and assignes for ever as she may think proper
I Thomas Green do now declare this to be my last Will and Testament in this one sheet
paper And to which hereby sett my hand and Seal this six day of April in the year One
thousand eight hundred and thirty eight � Thomas Green � Signed seald and published
and declared by the said Thomas Green the Testator as his last will in the presence of
us and at his request in presence of each other hereunto sett our name as Witnesses

The before registered Will of Thomas Green deceased was proved the thirteenth day of November 1840 before the Reverend John Pechey Francis, Clerk Surrogate to the Worshipful Sherrard Beaumont Burnaby Doctor of Law Official General to the Reverend the Archdeacon of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the Oaths of Elizabeth Green widow the relict of the deceased Harriet Hayter and Edward Young three of the Executors named in the said will they being first sworn duly to perform the same. (Power reserved of making the like grant to George Daynes the other Executor when he shall apply for the same.)
