I give and bequeath unto John Bodkin, my grandson the sum of forty pounds of lawful money of England
and all the tools in my shop belonging to the trade of a blacksmith and all the stock that shall be found in the shop except what
shall belong to husbandry
and in like manner I give and bequeath to my granddaughter, Mary Groombridge the sum of 20 pounds of good lawful money of England to be paid by my executor within 6 months after my decease.
Lastly I give unto my son Charles Groombridge after the death of my dear and well beloved wife ...
and lastly I make my wife my only executor if living at my death.
If dead before me the my son Charles Groombridge to be executor in her stead to pay my debts and legacies
