I Give and bequeath the sum of one thousand three hundred pounds three per
Cent reduced bank Annuities now standing in my name in the books of the
Governor and Company of the Bank of England or so much thereof as I shall die
possessed of unto and between my two Nephews Stephen Groombridge of West
Smithfield London linen Draper and John Elliot of Yalding in the County of Kent
Shop keeper their Executors and Administrators equally to be divided between
them share and share alike to and for their own use and benefit
subject nevertheless to the Payment of the two several Annuities hereinafter bequeathed
and I do hereby expressly charge the same with the payment thereof that is to say
with the payment of one Annuity of ten pounds I Give to my Brother Mr
Stephen Groombridge of Goudhurst aforesaid payable half yearly for and during the term of his natural life
and with the payment of one other Annuity of ten pounds which I Give to my Sister Mary Elliott the Wife of Alexander Elliott of
Cranbrook in the County of Kent payable half yearly for and during the term of her natural life
and I direct that the same shall not be subject to the debts
Controul or Engagements of her present or any future husband and that her
receipt alone notwithstanding her Coverture shall be a good and sufficient
discharge for the same
I Give to my said Sister Mary Elliott all my wearing apparel of every kind
I Give to Ann Waters Servant to my Brother Mr Thomas Groombridge if living with him at my decease five pounds
I give all the rest residue and remainder of my Estate and effects of what nature or kind soever unto my said Nephews Stephen Groombridge and John Elliot their Exors and Administrators to and for their own use and benefit equally between them share and share alike
and Lastly I nominate Constitute and appoint my said Brother Thomas Groombridge sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made
