The Resydewe of all my goods my debts and this my Legac[ie]s fullye contented and paid I give and bequethe to John Gybbs my Sone, whiche John I ordaigne and make my sole executor to see & doe this my Will to be honestlye provyd [proved] and fulfylled
Also I doe ordaigne and make John Walker of the p[ar]ishe of Goodnestone to be myne ovrseer of this my Will and he to have for his Labor and paynes in that behalf a xxs of Lawfull money of Englande

Thys ys the laste Wyll of me the said William Gybbes made and declared the day and yere Fyrste above Wryten and in the vth yere of the raigne of our Souraigne Lord Edward the syxte by the grace of God Kinge of England Fraunce and Ireland, defendor of the faythe &c towchinge the dysposytion of Lands set lyenge and beinge at Apshill in the p[ar]ishe of Wodnesboroughe aforesaid
Item I will that Margaret my wyffe shalhave all my said Lands to her and to her assignes duringe the
tyme of her Lyffe naturall and after her decease Then I wyll all the said lands to remayne to John
Gybbes my sonne to him and to his hayres and assignes for ever more
