Item I bequethe to the poor peoples box veryfyed? within the same churche a vs
Item I will & bequethe unto Margaret my Wyffe a xxli [£20] of Lawfull money of England of the whiche I Will a xli to be paid to her or to her executors and assignes within half a yere nexte after my decease and thother xli to be paid to her or them wthin the space of ij yeres then next followynge
Item I bequethe unto the said Margarett ij of my best kyne and one two yeryng haffer
Item I will unto the said Margaret one nage to ryde uppon or ells a xlvjs of Lawfull money of Englane at her choyse; ij quarters of whete; the iijde [3rd] parte of all my houshold stuffe

Item I Will that the said Margaret shalhave the chamber called the p[ar]lor set at the Southe end of the manor of Hamwold? nexte wth free Ingresse and regresse at all tymes as well to the same as to the fyer and othr place wthin this my Will to her appoynted in any p[ar]te within the said maner of Hamewold of the holle terne of her Wydowhod
Item I will unto the said Margarette duringe her said Wydowhod the kepinge of ij keyne Wynter and Sommer at Hamewold co[u]rt and land yerelye to to sowe one acre and half of whete and ij of barley uppon the lands of the said manr wthout any maner of ferme or rente at any tyme for the same to be paid
Item I wyll unto the same Margaret durynge the tyme aforesaid half the fruyte of the orchard and yerely half a quarter of o[a]ts

Item I wyll that John Gybbes my Sone shalhave my Lease of Hamywold corte to him and to his executors and assignes withe all comodytyes and proffytts to the same belonginge excepte the Legac[ie]s before geven unto Margaret my Wiffe

Item I Will unto Stephyne Gybbes my Sonne a xij [£12] of Lawfull money of Englande of the wch I Will vjli be paid to him or his assignes by my executor wthin the space of a yere nexte after my decease and the Resydewe to be paid unto him or them Within the space of one yere then nexte Followynge
Item I wyll to the same Stephyne tenne Ewes, v ewe tuggs, ij keyne, ij of my horse by the name colle and hobbe, one ij yereinge bullocke, xij boshells of whete and xij boshells of barleye

Item I wyll unto Williams Gybbs my Sonne tenne ewes to be delivred unto him at sheringe tyme nexte after my decease and one cowe to be delivred unto him wthin one yere nexte after my decease
Item I Will unto the same William a vli vjs viijd of Lawfull moeny of Englande to be delivred unto him wthin the space of ij yeres nexte after my decease

Item I Wyll unto Richard Gybbes my Sone tene ewes to be delivred unto him at sherynge tyme nexte after my decease and one Cowe to be delivred unto hym within one yere nexte after my decease
Item I will unto the said Richarde a vli vjs viijd of Lawfull moeny of Englande to be paid to him by myne executor when he comethe to his full age of xxti [20] yeres

Item I will unto Elizabethe my daughter a iiijli [£4] of lawfull money of Englande, one cowe bullocke and v Ewes to be delivred unto her at xix yeres of age
Item I will unto Marrye my daughter a iiijli of Lawfull money of Englande, one cowe bullocke and v Ewes to be delivred into my Wiffs hands unto suche tyme as the said Marye come to her at xiiij yeres and if my said wiffe fortune to marye then I will she to put in [security] to my excut[or]s for the payment of the same

Item I wyll unto Willm Kember a xls in money, x Ewes, a quarter of Whete, one quarter of barley and one cowe bud
Item I will unto John Powte xv teggs and V Ewes and sixe wethers and ij northan bullocks wch shepe to be delivred at sheringe tyme nexte comynge
Item I will unto William Powte the sonne of John Powte at sherynge tyme next comynge ij Ewes and a vjs viiijd of Lawfull money of Englande when he comethe to thage of xij yeres

Item I wyll unto Marks Hendyman the beste ewe tegge that he can choyse amonge all my teggs and if the said Marks will tarye wythe John my Sonne the space of v yeres next after my decease Then I will that John my Sone shall kepe the said Ewe tegge withe her holle pmcesse [premisses?] to th'use of the said Marks and then the said Marks to be honestelye apparrelled bothe for the holy day and Workinge daye and a vs shillings of money in his purse then to be at his Lybertye to goe or byde

Item I will unto John Knyghte my godsone ij Ewe teggs
Item I give unto Agnes Boughtone one Ewe tegge
Item I will unto Johane Harvye my goddaughter a viijd in moneye to be delivred and paid wthin one monethe nexte after my decease

The Resydewe of all my goods my debts and this my Legac[ie]s fullye contented and paid I give and bequethe to John Gybbs my Sone, whiche John I ordaigne and make my sole executor to see & doe this my Will to be honestlye provyd [proved] and fulfylled

Also I doe ordaigne and make John Walker of the p[ar]ishe of Goodnestone to be myne ovrseer of this my Will and he to have for his Labor and paynes in that behalf a xxs of Lawfull money of Englande

Thys ys the laste Wyll of me the said William Gybbes made and declared the day and yere Fyrste above Wryten and in the vth yere of the raigne of our Souraigne Lord Edward the syxte by the grace of God Kinge of England Fraunce and Ireland, defendor of the faythe &c towchinge the dysposytion of Lands set lyenge and beinge at Apshill in the p[ar]ishe of Wodnesboroughe aforesaid

Item I will that Margaret my wyffe shalhave all my said Lands to her and to her assignes duringe the tyme of her Lyffe naturall and after her decease Then I wyll all the said lands to remayne to John Gybbes my sonne to him and to his hayres and assignes for ever more
