I wish to be buried where my father was buried.
To the poor 40 shillings, at my burial 20 shillings and at home to my neighbours that come to my burial 20 shillings in mean and drink.
To Mr Meadow, Vicar, 6 shillings for a semon.

Item: to William Gynder my son �10
Item: to Stephen Gynder my son �10
Item: to my three daughters Rebecca, Elizabeth and Joan �40 each out of my lands held by my son John,
to be paid to the eldest first whether she marry first or not and then for the second and the third. He shall pay the youngest within three years, if it is fortune that any of them die before they receive their legacy then it is to be divided indifferently between the surviving two, if two die then the liver to have 100 marks and no more the residue of it to remain to Alexander Gynder, George Gynder and Anthony Gynder.

Item: to my wife 2 kine of her own choosing, half of my poultry and half my hogges about my house in the slaughter time following my death and also 10 good ewes to be kept amongst my son John Gynder�s ewes in Summer as long as she will milk them.

Item: all my household stuff and plate to my wife and my 3 daughters in 4 parts and my wife�s part to remain to my son John if she remarry.
I make my son John my soul executor.

Lands
The barns, stables and gardens that Thomas Culling now lives in and one close of land called the nether croft being upon Styndes Gate, one piece of land called Whitfiled, one called Hempstone which I purchased of Richard Webb and the next adjoining to the same Hempstone up to Henry Strode�s land called Sawpiece from the street to the high common land hedges, the fourth end of it and piece of wood called Bredwood and one piece of pasture at the upper end of the garden which has been called by late Meadow and one garden or piece of land called Collapes Town to William Gender my son and the heirs male of his body lawfully begotten.

The rest of my lands to John my son, he to pay my daughters their legacies from the profits, then to Alexander Gynder his son and heirs male.
If that fail to George Gender son of my son Stephen
and for default of such heirs to Anthony Gender son of my son Thomas
and for default of such heirs to the heirs of my son John in fee simple.

The lands mentioned in the jointure for the use of his wife.
My wife his mother shall during her life have my parlour and the little buttery opposite to it with the loft over it and �6 in money yearly and she to have during her life 2 kine wintered and summered with her own 10 ewes only summered with free remaining and going to the fires at all places in the house for her and her heirs at all times my son John to bear the charges of the wood and to do such business as she shall have to do as baking and washing during her life.
