First I Give and Devise unto my Daughter Sarah Wife of John Riley of Brookland aforesaid Cordwainer All that my Messuage or Tenement Garden Ground and Premises thereunto belonging situate and being in the aforesaid Parish of Brookland now in my own Occupation And also All that my one other Messuage or Tenement Garden Ground and Premises thereunto belonging situate and being in the said Parish of Brookland now in the Occupation of the said John Riley (Reely as married) To hold to the said Sarah Wife of the said John Riley her Assigns for during the Term of her Natural life She keeping the Same in Good Tenantable Repair And from and immediately after her Decease I Give and Devise the said Messuages or Tenements Gardens Ground and Premisses thereunto belonging unto and among all and every the Child and Children of the said Sarah Riley that shall be living at Time of my deceased equally to be divided between them (if more than one) To take as Tenants in Common and not as Joint Tenants and to their Several and Respective Heirs and Assigns for ever
Also I Give and Devise unto all and every the Child and Children of my Daughter Ann Webb deceased the late Wife of John Webb of High Halden in the said County of Kent Yeoman, That shall be Living at the Time of my Decease All that my one other Messuage or Tenement Garden Land and Premisses thereunto belonging or appertaining and with the same Usually Lett Occupied and enjoyed situate and being in the aforesaid parish of Brookland now or late in the Occupation of John Knight or his Assigns To hold to all and every such Child and Children Children and to their Several and Respective Heirs and Assigns for ever equally to be divided between them (if more than one) and to take as Tenants in Common and not as Joint Tenants
Also I Give and Devise unto my Daughter Mary Wife of Mark Redman of Ore near Faversham of the said County of Kent Carpenter All that my new built Messuage or Tenement together with the Garden Ground and two Pieces or Parcels of Land thereunto belonging situate lying and being in the Several Parishes of Brookland aforesaid and Brenzett in the said County of Kent or in one of them Containing by Estimation Seven Acres more or less now or late in the Several Occupation of my Grandson William Philips and Robert Skeere or one of them To hold the said last mentioned Messuage or Tenement Garden Ground land and Premisses thereunto belonging unto my said daughter Mary Redman and her Assigns for and during the Term of her Natural Life She paying out of the same unto John Huggett of the aforesaid Parish of Brookland Grazier the Sum of one hundred and ten pounds principal Money which I stand indebted unto him in Bond together with all Interest that shall be due for the same at the Time of my Decease And from and immediately after the Decease of the Said Mary Redman I Give and Devise the said last mentioned Messuage or Tenement Garden Land and Premisses thereunto belonging unto all and every Child and Children of the said Mary Redman that shall be living at the Time of my Decease, Equally to be divided between them if more that one, To take as Tenants in Common and not as Joint Tenants and to their Several and respective Heirs and Assigns
And as to for and concerning all my Household Goods and Furniture and all other my Personal Estate whatsoever (after payments of my) just Debts except the aforesaid Debt of one Hundred and Ten Pounds principle Money due and owing to the said John Huggett Funeral Expenses and other incident charges I Give unto my said Daughter Sarah Wife of John Riley Mary Wife of Mark Redman and also all the Children of my said daughter Ann Webb deceased that shall be living at the time of my decease Equally to be Divided between them Share and Share alike
And I do make Constitute and Appoint the said Mark Redman and my said
Daughter Sarah Riley to be Executors of this my Will and hereby revoking all
former Wills by me made Do declare this to be my last Will and Testament
In Witness whereof of the said John Hall the Testator have hereunto Set and
put my Name and Seal this Twenty fifth day of August One Thousand Seven
Hundred and Sixty nine John Hall Signed Sealed and Published and Declared
by the said John Hall the Testator as and for his Last Will and Testament in
the presence of us of who in his presence and in the presence of each other
have Subscribed our Names as Witnesses
