Also I geve unto Thomasine Banck Ten poundes to be paid at the discrecon of my wif(e)
Item I geve to James Strowble yerelie by the space of tenne yeres, if he live so longe, Fortie shillings
Item I geve unto Henrye Harflete my brother yerelie by the space of fourtene yeres Forty shillings if he so long contynnue at an Inne of Court or toward learning and do lyve so long
Item I geve to Thomas Harflete my sonne all my Right Title & Interest that I have in or to the Manor of Flete
Provided alwayes that where Willm. Aucher, gent(leman) hathe grannted the Moytie of the Lease of the saide Manor to me and my uncle
Willm. Gibbs in consideracon of certen bondes in certen Sommes of monye to dyvers p[er]sons My minde and will is upon the distcharge of the
saide Bondes that all suche assurance and writings as I have from the said Willm. Aucher concerninge the same shall be redelivered by my Executors
and overseers
Item Whereas Mr. Willm Partriche Esquier is to have Threskore Acres of Marshe by Indenture by terme of xxj [21] yeres according to the Indenture whiche he hath alredye Sealed and made, And John Broke is to have one hundred Acres likewise for xxj yeres out of the Manor of Flete, either of them to have comencement from the feast of Sainte Michaell Anno 1580 to the sevrall termes of xxj yeres, My minde and will is upon the particon and setting downe of their partes I do authorize and inhable my Overseeres to ratifie and confirme the same in as full and ample maner as if I had done the same my selfe
Item I will that Mercye my wif(e) shall have for the terme she dwelleth in Ashe Twenty Acres lying together of my Marshe at Chapmans she to
have her choice paying yerelie for the same to my sonne Thomas Fower poundes
Item I geve unto Alice Fowler my wyves dawter Two hundred Markes at suche tyme as shall like my wif(e)
Item I geve unto either of my dawters Susan and Mildred Two hundred Markes at their severall ages of Twenty yeres or at ther severall marriag[e]s If it fortune bothe or either of them to dye before Marriage or suche age then I will the same shall remayne to my saide sonne Thomas
Item I geve to my brother White of London Ten Angelles to make hym some Jewell in remembrance of me
The residue of all my movable goodes and cattle my debtes and Legacyes paid I geve to Mercy my wif(e) and Thomas Harflete my sonne whome I orden
and make my Executors
And my brother in lawe Walter Hendlie and my Uncle Willm Gibbs Oversees of this my last will and testament,
Advising my children by them to be ruled and brought up
And as concerninge the disposicon of all my Landes and tenements and other hereditaments within the Countye of Kente
I will that Mercye my wif(e) shall have and enjoye for terme of her lif(e) my Manor or Mesuage of Molande And all those landes tenements and hereditaments in Molande, Guildenton, Ailton and Pedding according to one Feasment [Feoffment?] thereof made to divers parsons to her use for the terme of her lif(e) as it is in the same dede specified
And after her decease I will all the same landes Tenements & hereditaments, And also when he shall come to the age of xxj yeres all and singuler my
other landes Tenements hereditaments unto the saide Thomas my sonne & his heiris males forever
Yelding and paying yereliue unto every of my sonns Samuell, Walter and Raymonde Twenty poundes by yere when they come to ther severall ages
of xxj yeres for terme of their lives half yerelie to be paid in consideracon of their prefermentes in learning, And in the mean tyme to be kept
at the charge of my said Executors
And if for default of payment wthin one moneth after the tyme it ought to be paide it shall be laufull to any of them being behinde unpaide to distreine [distrain] in any of the saide landes and the dystresses to reteyne untill they or any of them shalbe fullie satisfied and paide
And if it fortune the saide Thomas to dye without heiers males of his bodye laufullie begotten Then I will the same should remaine to Samuell my
sonne and his heyers males for ever Yeldinge and bearinge suche charges as Thomas should have done
And if it fortune the saide Samuell to dye without heiers males of his bodye laufullie begotten Then I will the same lands and Tenements as is
aforesaide to Walter my sonne and to his heiers males forever Yeldinge and bearinge suche charges as Thomas or Samuell should have done
And if it fortune the said Walter to dye without heyers males of his bodie laufullie begotten Then I will my landes Tenements and other
hereditaments as is aforesaid shall remaine to Raymonde my sonne and to his heiers males for ever

Chrystopher Harflete, g. [gentleman] was buried at St. Nicholas, Ash next Sandwich, Kent on 17th September 1575.
Mercye Harflete wyddowe was buried at Ash on 29th May 1602
