In the Name of God Amen This Thirty First day of March Anno Dm 1707 (and in the Sixth Year of the Reign of Queen Anne over England etc,)
I John Harper of Wrotham in the County of Kent Physician being at present in health of Body sound mind and disposing memory but being bound to parts beyond the Seas and calling to mind the uncertainty of this Life Do make and declare these presents to contain my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say
Imprimis I give and resigne my Soul into the hands of Almighty God my Creator hoping for the pardon of my Sins by the alone Meritts of Jesus Christ my blessed Saviour My Body I give to the Earth or Sea as it shall please God to bestow it to And my worldly Estate as followeth that is to say

I give to my Sister Catherine Allen the summe of Ten pounds to buy her a suite of Mourning

Item all the rest and residue of my Goods Chattles and personal Estate Lands Tenemts and Hereditaments whatsoever and wheresoever within the County of Kent aforesaid or elsewhere within the Kingdom of England whereof I shall dye possest or be intitled unto I give devise and bequeath unto my loving Wife Mary and to her Heirs Executors Administrators and Assignes for Ever

And I do hereby make nominate and appoint Mr Nicholas Parry of the Town Merlin in the County of Kent aforesaid Tobacconist and Mr Richard Chapman of London Apothecary to be joynt Executors of this my last Will and Testament In Trust for the use of my said Wife

In Wittness whereof revoking all former and other Wills by me made I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and Year above written John Harper
