To be buried in the churchyard of Boxley.
Item: to my brother William Hartredge all my corn late sown or to be sown by
and between him my said brother, my house, William Lownes and Stephen
Owre containing about 18 acres of land and I do release him of all the depts. He
do owe me to the value of �20 which he standeth to pay me when I reach 30.
I ask that my executors deliver unto him �20 one year after my decease.
He to have use of the said �20 until the children of my said sister Mary, wife of John
Shaw come to their ages of 18 years of age and the said �20 to be equally divided between them.
Item: to John Goldsmith the son of my brother in law John Goldsmith �10 to be
paid him at 18 year as of age and 10 shillings a year towards his keeping in the mean time.
Item: I do give �10 to be paid and equally divided between the rest of my said
brother in law�s children as they come to their ages of 18 and all to have 10
shillings a year to be divided amongst them in the mean time.
Item: I do give to my sister late wife of John Beckett �2 and I do bequeath unto John Becket her son �5 one year after my decease.
Item: to my sister Lucy, wife of Richard Smith 12 shillings and to each of her
children 12 shillings a piece to be paid when demanded.
Item: to each of my godchildren 2 shillings a piece.
Item: to the poor people of Boxley 10 shillings.
All the rest of my goods to my mother Joane Hartridge and to my brother Robert Harteridge Whom I make executors.
Of my lands, I give and bequeath unto my mother during the term of her natural life one messuage in Boxley in the occupation
of Richard Gray.
Afterwards I bequeath the said lands to my brother Robert Harteridge
