I Christopher Hartley of Bromley in the County of Kent considering the Uncertainty of life make this my last Will and Testament

I give and bequeath unto Mary the Widow of Thomas Hartley and to Mary the Widow of Zachary Hartley and to Sarah Wife of John Eccles my sister and to Hannah daughter of my late sister Hannah all of the Parish of Huddesfield in Yorkshire to each the sum of ten pounds full (that is all Taxes to be paid out of the whole of whatever I can leave)

To Sophia Daughter of Robert Smith of Bromley To Lucy Daughter of Richard Starkey of Bromley my God daughters To Francis Son of Thomas Strange of Watlington Oxfordshire my Godson to each one Guinea as a token of my love for them

All other effects I give and bequeath unto Hepsebah my sister in law Widow of my eldest brother John Hartley whom I nominate and appoint my sole Executrix
This I declare my last Will and Testament to which I affix my name Christopher Hartley
Witnesses William Corfe _ William Rawes

The ten pounds I bequeath to my niece Hannah being yet a minor I wish to be placed in the hands of some trusty Person at the will of Mary Widow of Zachary Hartley till the day of her marriage or till she arrive at the Age of twenty one years
