In the name of God Amen in anno dini 1606
I Richard Harvey of Elham in the Countie of Kent beinge weake in bodie but of sounde & p[er]fecte memorie do make this my Last will and testament First I comitt my Soule to God that gave it & my bodie to be buried in the p[ar]ishe churchyard of Elham aforesaid

And further also I gyve to Richard Harvey my sonne my house and my Lands to him and to his heires for ever after his mother’s decease, keepinge herselfe a widdoe and keepinge the same winde tight & water tight, makinge no wast
And if she shall thinke good to marrie then my sonne Richard shall enter for the one halfe & my wife to enjoye the other (for) her life tyme

Item I gyve to Catherine my eldest daughter xxs [20s] To be paid her out of the house and the Land when she come to xxij yeares of age
Also I bequeath to Margerie my youngest dawghter fourty shillings to be paid her by her brother Richard Harvey when she come to the age of xxij yeares
Item I gyve to my sonnes Richard and John a fire? kettle, w[hi]ch was my Fathers & my mothers to be delyvered unto him at the age of twentie & three yeares

All the rest of my moveable goodes I gyve to Clare my wife makinge her & my sonne sole Executors of this my last will and Testament
and Daniell Cloke & Henrie Grainger my Overseers
