First I give and devise all and Singular my Messuages Lands Tenements and hereditaments and Real state whatsoever and wheresoever
unto my Well beloved Wife Sarah Hayman and her Assigns for and during the term of her Natural life she keeping maintaining and
upholding all the buildings of or belonging to the said premises in good repair
and from and immediately after her decease to
my Nephew Richard Hayman of Deal aforesaid Upholsterer (natural Son of my late Sister Elizabeth Chambers before named Elizabeth Hayman
deceased);
Samuel Mourilyan of Deal aforesaid Woollen Draper and John Mourilyan of Ripple Court in the Parish of Ripple in the said County
Yeoman (the two Sons of my late Sister Amy Mourilyan deceased) equally to be divided between them
the said Richard Hayman, Samuel Mourilyan and John Mourilyan share and share alike and they to take as Tenants in
Common and not as joint tenants and to their several and respective Heirs and Assigns for ever
And my Will is that it shall and may be Lawful to and for my said Wife Sarah Hayman from time to
time and at any time or times during her natural life by Indenture to be by her duly granted and to be
attested by two or more credible Witnesses to demise or lease all or any part of my said Messuages
Lands Tenements and hereditaments so devised to her for life as aforesaid to any person or persons
whatsoever for any term or number of years not exceeding one and twenty years to take effect in
possession and not in reversion or remainder or by way of future Interest so as upon all an every such
lease and leases there be reserved to Continue Payable half yearly or Quarterly during the term or
terms thereby to be granted the best and most improved yearly Rent or Rents that can be reasonably
had or obtained for the same without taking any Sum or Sums of Money or other thing by way of fine
or income for in respect of such lease or leases and so as none of the said Leases be made
dispunishable of Waste by any express Words or clause therein to be Contained a clause of reentry for
nonpayment of the rent or rents to be thereby respectively reserved
And all such Covenants Provisoes Articles and agreements in the part of the Lessee or Lessees his her
or their Executors Administrators and Assigns to be kept done and performed as and or shall be
proper and usual in such cases and to the Lessee or Lessees to whom such Lease or Leases shall be
made do at the same time sign seal and as his her or their Act and Deed in due form of Law deliver
and execute a Counterpart or Counterparts of such Lease or Leases
Also I give and bequeath the sum of twenty Pounds of Lawful Money of Great Britain unto each of them my said three Nephews Richard Hayman, Samuel Mourilyan and John Mourilyan to be paid unto them respectively within Six Calendar Months next after my decease
And as to all the Rest and Residue of my Goods, Chattels, Effects, Debts due and owing to me, money, securities for money, money in any of the Public Stocks or Funds of this Kingdom and all other my personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever and of what kind or nature soever the same may be at the time of my decease from and after the payment of all my just Debts, funeral Expences, the Legacies aforesaid and the charges of Proving and executing this my Will I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my said Wife Sarah Hayman absolutely to and for her own use and benefit
And I make Constitute and appoint my brother Thomas Hayman full and Sole Executor of this my Last Will and Testament
And Lastly I do hereby revoke all former Wills by me made
In Witness whereof I the said Lancelot Hayman have to this my Last Will and Testament Contained in two
Sheets of Paper annexed together to the first sheet thereof set my hand and to this second and Last
Sheet thereof my hand and seal the Day and year first aforesaid

Signed Sealed Published and declared by the said Lancelot Hayman as and for his last Will and
Testament in the presence of us who have hereunto Subscribed our names as Witnesses thereto in his
presence at his request and in the presence of each other

This Will was proved at London the Sixth day of August in the year of Our Lord One thousand seven
hundred and Ninety Five before the Right Honorable Sir William Wynne, Knight, Doctor of Laws,
Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury Lawfully Constituted by the
Oath of Thomas Hayman the Brother of the deceased and Sole Executor named in the said Will to
whom Administration was granted of all and Singular the Goods, Chattels and Credits of the said
deceased having been first Sworn by Commission duly to Administer
