I William Hilder formerly of West Wickham now of the Parish of Keston in Kent Labourer being of sound mind and memory do declare this to be my last Will and Testament

And Whereas I am possessed of a certain share in Government Stock or Funds called new Consolidated four per cent annuities Also of a certain sum of money deposited by me in and now standing in my name in the Savings Bank Bromley Kent also of a note of hand for one hundred pounds lent by me to Richard Searle of the Borough of Southwark Butcher all this my property I give and dispose of in the following manner

First I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth Townsend formerly of West Wickham now of Keston in Kent Widow the sum of fifty pounds
To Elizabeth Searle Niece to the said Elizabeth Townsend I give and bequeath the like sum of fifty pounds
the two said legacies to be paid to each of them respectively in six months after my decease

To Thomas Sharpe of Bromley Kent son of Mary Waters my Residuary Legatee hereinafter named I give and bequeath my silver watch
To Henry Dale of Bromley aforesaid son in law to Mary Waters my residuary Legatee hereinafter named I give and bequeath my Chest and Clothes and whatever may be contained in the Chest at the time of my decease writings and Bank papers excepted

To Backett Chapman my Executor hereinafter named I give and bequeath the sum of five pounds in consideration of the trouble he will have in the execution of this my Will

And as to all the rest residue and remainder of my Estate whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature kind or quality soever the same may be and not hereinbefore given and disposed of After Payment of my debts legacies funeral expences and the expences of proving this my Will I do hereby give and bequeath the same being all personal unto my natural daughter Mary late Wife of John Sharpe of Bromley in Kent deceased now Wife of Robert Waters of Bromley aforesaid Labourer her Executors Administrators and Assigns to and for her and their own use and benefit absolutely
And I do nominate and appoint the said Mary Waters my Residuary Legatee

And I do hereby make constitute and appoint Backett Chapman of Hayes in Kent Schoolmaster the whole and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament
