This is the last Will and Testament of me Joseph Hilder of Eynsford Kent Carpenter

First I direct that all my just debts testamentary and funeral expences be paid by my executor so soon as conveniently may be after my decease
And whereas George Turner of Dartford in this County (my Son in law) is indebted to me in the sum of Eighty Pounds principal money more or less now I do give forgive and release unto the said George Turner the said sum of Eighty Pounds and do hereby will and direct that my executors hereinafter named do excuse and release the said sum to him

And all other debts due to me I direct my executors to get in and receive and with any other monies due to me or which they may receive and with any other monies due to me or which they may receive or can recover from my late brother�s estate and effects in Jamaica to be put out to interest on good security or invested in the funds as they shall think proper and then interest or annual profits thereof to be paid by them to my dear Wife Ann Hilder for her life to whom also I give for her life the use of all my household goods and furniture linnen and all other household articles belonging to me at the time of my decease

And on her death I give the whole of the same together all the principal money before mentioned (after five pounds each shall have been retained for the two sons of my late Son Joseph Hilder deceased which I direct my executors to pay them on their respectively attaining the age of twenty one years together with all interest arising therefrom) to be equally divided by my executors between my four children William, Martha, Rachel and Rebecca the lawful issue of either of them dying and leaving such to take the Parent�s share

I hereby appoint Mr William Rogers of Shoreham and Mr William Atwood of Farningham to be my Executors who shall repay themselves their expences in executing this my Will and be answerable for their personal acts only

And I do declare this to be my last Will and Testament unto which I have set my hand this fifteenth day of February Eighteen hundred and forty one _ Joseph Hilder
