First I hereby revoke all former Wills by me made and of this my last Will and Testament do constitute and appoint my brother Giles Hilton of Preston next Faversham in the said County Gentleman and John Shepherd of Faversham in the said County Captain in the Royal Navy Executors and I give and bequeath unto my said Executors the sum of nineteen guineas apiece as an acknowledgment for their trouble
also I give and bequeath unto my niece Elizabeth Hilton the Daughter of my brother Captain George Hilton the sum of three hundred pounds of lawful money of Great Britain to be paid to her within six calendar months next after my decease
and as to all the rest and residue of all my goods chattels household furniture plate china linen and books ready money and securities for money and all other my personal estate and effect whatsoever and wheresoever that shall remain and be left after payment of all my just debts legacies funeral charges and the costs of proving this my Will and other incidental expences and subject thereto I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my wife Sarah Hilton to and for her own absolute use and benefit
and I do hereby declare that my said executors shall not be answerable the one of them for the other of them or for involuntary losses and that it shall be lawful for them to reimburse themselves respectively all losses costs and expenses which they or either of them may sustain by reason of this my Will or any matter or thing whatsoever relating thereto
