In the name of God Amen the six and twentieth day of October in the yeare of the raigne of our Soveraigne Lord James by the grace of God of England Scotand France and Ireland King Defender of the faith etc. and of England France and Ireland the eighteenth [1620] and of Scotland the four and fiftieth
I William Hinde of the p[ar]ish of Wickhambreux in the County of Kent Yeoman beinge sicke of body but of good & p[er]fect remembrance (thankes bee to Almighty God) doe make and ordaine this my last will and testament in manner and forme followinge, revokeinge all former wills heertofore by mee made
First I bequeath my soule to Almighty God hopeinge thorou the meritts and pretious death of his onely sonne Jesus Christ my Lord & Saviour to obtaine full remission of all my sinnes and to bee p[ar]taker of his eternall kingdome
And my Body to bee buryed in the churchyard of Wickhambreux aforesaid

Item I give towards the reparacons of the said p[ar]ish church of Wickhambreux tenn shillings
Item I give to the poore people o the said pish of Wickhambreux tenn shillings

Item I give unto Mary my daughter the wife of John Holnes of Ickham twenty pounds of lawfull English mony to bee paid within one yeare next after my decease

The residue of all my moveable goods and chattells unbequeathed my debts and legacyes beeinge paid
I will and give unto Isabell my wife and unto Edward Hinde my sonne whom I make my Executors of this my last will and testament

In Witnes whereof I have heereunto sett my hand and seale the day and yeare first above written

Probatum fuit: William Hinde of Wickhambreaux and Stodmarsh - 4th December 1629

Notes:
William Hinde was buried at St. Mary, Stodmarsh, Kent, on 9th November 1629
William Hynde married Isbell Bradshaw 25th November 1599 at St. Mary the Virgin, Chislet, Kent.
Daughter Mary Hinde married John Holnes 7th June 1619 at St. Andrew, Wickhambreaux, Kent.
