This is the last Will and Testament of me George Hoath the Elder of Westerham in the County of Kent Yeoman

First I give and devise unto my Wife Mary Hoath and her Assigns for and during the term of her natural life All that Croft or Parcel of Land called Langham with the Appurtenances or by whatsoever Name or Names the same is called or known containing by estimation three Acres together with the way to the said Croft belonging or appertaining situate lying and being at Cockham hill in the Parish of Westerham aforesaid and now in the Tenure or Occupation of me the said George Hoath which said Land and Premises I purchased of and from John Hubbard and Eleanor his Wife

And from and immediately after the decease of my said Wife I give and devise the same Croft or Parcel of Land and Premises together with their Rights Me... and Appurtenances unto my Eldest Son George Hoath his Heirs and Assigns for ever

Also I give and bequeath to my Younger Son John Hoath and my Daughter Mary the Wife of Edward Tremain the sum of Five Pounds apiece to be paid by my Executors herein after appointed within twelve Calendar Months next after my decease from and out of my Personal Estate and Effects

Also I give and bequeath unto my said Wife Mary Hoath for and during the term of her natural life the full and free use and enjoyment of all and singular my live and dead Stock Implements of Husbandry Goods Chattels and Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever Subject to the Payment thereout of the aforesaid Legacies all my just Debts Funeral Expences and the Charges of Proving this my Will
And from and immediately after her decease I give and bequeath the same unto my said Son George Hoath his Executors Administrators and Assigns for ever

And I do make constitute and appoint my said Wife Mary Hoath and my said Son George Hoath Executors of this my Will and I do hereby revoke and make void all other Wills by me at any time heretofore made

In Witness whereof I the said George Hoath the Testator have hereunto set my Hand and Seal the fifth day of March in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety eight George Hoath
