In the name of God Amen
The twentie ninth day of December in the eight and thirtie yeare of the raigne of our Soveraigne Ladie Quene Elizabeth I Hellen Hadsoule of Sevenocke in the Countie of Kent weddow being sicke in boddie and hole in minde and of perfecte memory Laude and prase be to almightie God do ordaine and make this my present Testament and last will in manner and forme following
First I bequeath my soule to almightie God and to his Sonne Jesus Christ which redemed us w�th his pretious bloode, beseeching him of his infynite mercy and goodnes to pardon yt and to receive it to his mercy, and my bodie to be buryed in the Church of Sevenocke above named
And as touching the disposicion of all my goods and Chattles which God hath made me owner of I dispose them in manner and forme following, that is to saye,
First I give and bequeath unto the poore people of Sevenocke, Otteforde, Sondrishe, Ashe, Stanfold and Kingsdowne the some of six pounde of Lawfull money of England to be distributed and bestowed at convenyent tyme according to discrecon of my Executor or Executors hereafter named.

Item I give unto Hellen Kettle my Goddaughter fyve pound and to Sara Gardener her sister three pound to be paide unto them or theire assignes within one yeare nexte after my decease.
Item I give unto the two childeren of John Partridge deceased the some of fower pound to be equally devided betwene them and to be paid unto them and either of them as abovesaid.
Item I give unto Cornewell Clerke my old servannt the some of Twentie shillings to be paid unto him as abovesaid.
Item I give unto Thomas Gardener an other of my old servannts the some of three pound to be paid unto him or his Assignes in manner and forme as above saide.

I give unto John Pococke my godsonne the some of fyve pound to be paid unto him or his assignes as abovesaid.
Item I give unto William Pococke his brother the some of forty shillings to be paid unto him in such sorte as abovesayd.
Item I give unto Dorothie Pococke theire sister three pound to be payd unto her or her Assignes in such sorte as abovesaide.
Itm I give unto Rachell Pococke Hellen Pococke and Elizabeth Pococke systres of the said Dorothie the some of xls? To be payd unto them and every of them as in manner and forme abovesaid.

Item I give unto Jane Olyver my kynsewoman wife unto John Olyver of Beerckhell the some of tenn pound in full recompence and satisfaction of all promisses heretofore made unto the said John Olyver her husband to be paide unto her or her assignes in manner and forme above saide.
Itm I give unto Mother Kinge the some of twentie shillings to be payed unto her or her assignes in manner and forme as abovesaide.
Itm I give and devise unto Mildred Petley and Anne Petley my goddaughters two of the daughters of Edward Petley the some of fower pounds to be equally devided and paid unto them and either of them or theire assignes in manner and forme as abovesaid.

Itm I give unto Elizabeth Pococke the wiefe of William Pococke all my hushould stuffe both woollen and lynning whatsoever now remayninge in the howse of the said William Pococke.
Itm I give unto Dorothie Hadsoule the goddaughter of Elizabeth Pococke the some of twentie shillings to be paide unto her or her assignes in manner and forme as abovesaide.
Itm I give unto my Cosyn Edward Petley and to J� his wife the some of twentie shillings to be paid unto them or theire assignes in such sorte as above written.
Itm I give unto the two sonnes of Henrie Gardener to either of them tenn shillings.
Itm I give and devise unto Edmond Richards and Edward Lusted and to either of them the some of tenn shillings to be paide unto them or theire assignes in forme as abovesaide.
Itm I give unto the six residue children of the said Edward Petley and to everie of them tenne shillings.

Itm I give unto Simon Luckke and John Rolfe of the hill and to either of them the some of tenn shillings to be paid unto them in manner and forme as abovesaide.
Itm I give unto Thomas Brawghton of Stansteede the some of forety shillings to be apid unto him as abovesaide.
Itm I give unto Margaret Hadsoule the daughter of William Hadsoule the some of twentie shillings to be paid unto her in such sorte as abovesaide.
Itm I give unto Anne Hadsoule and Ellin Hadsoule my goddaughters and the daughters of Robt Hadsoule the some of fower pounde to be paid unto them in manner and forme as abovesaide.

The residue of all my goods and chattalls before not given and devised I will and dispose unto Edwarde Petley and William Pococke which said Edward Petley and William Pococke I make and ordaine my whole and sole Executors of this my saide last will hoping and trusting that they will see me ... Brought to the earth and see this my will well and trulie performed

In witness whereof I the said Hellen Hadsoule weddowe unto this my said present last will and testament have putt my hande and seale the day and yeare first abovewritten.
And I doe make Overseers of this my saide last will and testament my verie freindes.
