To be buried in the church of Challock
For the breaking of the said ground 6 shillings and 8 pence
I will --- to be distributed to the poor for the relief of them and all other necessaries at the discretion of my executors.

Item: The residue of my moveable�s and goods to my wife Julian, whom I make sole executor
and to Thomas Holbend my son and the said Thomas to have for his labour 20 shillings.
Thomas Loftye of Westwell to be my overseer and he to have 6 shillings and 8 pence.

Item: I will that my wife Julian hall have my said tenement where I now dwell, to keep it in good repair and after the death of her to my son Thomas Hogbend and the heirs of his body lawfully begotten.
Item: To Thomas my son 3 pieces of land laying at Porstead in Challock, called Lawty being about 18 acres of land and woods in fee simple.

Item: To Robert my son 3 pieces of land laying at Boving in Challock, about 9 acres in fee simple.
Also my tenement laying at Wodderston in the parish of Wye and the three acres of land belonging to it for him and his heirs lawfully begotten, he paying to my wife 3 shillings and 4 pence within 6 years of my decease..

Item: To Clement Hogbend my son my tenement at Perok with two gardens and 3 pieces of land called Newlande and Lorkens and old Parrok about 16 acres of land in fee simple at the age of 24 years, my wife Julian to have the said profit of the lands to Clement come of age.

Item: To Thomas and Robert the residue of my lands in the occupying of William Spooner in fee simple.

Witnesses: Thomas Todd of St John�s in Thanet, John Baker and Richard Sprotte of Challock and Thomas Loftye of Westwell.
