In the name of God Amen I Margaret Hogben of the parish of Wingham in the county of Kent, maiden, though weake of body yett of perfect and good remembrance the Lord be praised for it & for all his other blessings, doe make and ordaine this my last Will and testam[en]t in manner and forme following,
First I bequeath my soule into the hands of Allmighty God that gave it assureing myselfe that by his death and resurrecion to have full pardon and forgivenes of all my Sinnes and my body to be decentrly buried wthin the Church-yard of Wingham at the discretion of my Executrix hereafter named And as for my worldly goods I give them as followeth vizt.

Item I will give and bequeath unto Thomas Hogben the sonne of John Hogben the sume of thirty pounds of Lawfull English money to him & his heires for ever when he shall attaine his age of fower and twenty yeares if he soe long shall live w[hi]ch sume of thirty pounds is in Bond to be paid unto me the s[ai]d Margarett Hogben from Edward Hogben my n[atu]rall Brother as by relacon being had unto the sd bonnd more plainly will appeare

But if the sd Thomas Hogben shall fortune to depart this life before he shall attaine the age of fower and twenty yeares then my will and meaning is that the said sume of thirty pounds aforesd. shalbe equally divided unto all and evry one of my Brothers & Sisters children wch shalbe then alive & portionally and equallie to evry one alike

wch Bond of thirty (pounds) is & shall remaine in the hands of Elizabeth Hogben by nrall Sister whome I doe make and ordaine to be my full and sole Executrix of this my last will and testamt.
And my will and meaning is that my Executrix shall have and receive all the use & p[ro]fitt of the aforesd. Bond if any shall come due untill the aforesd. Thomas Hogben shall attaine unto his age of fower & twenty yeares of he soe longe shall live

And now am I att quiett assureing myselfe that when death hath seized me this my body my soule shall rest wth Christ my Savior
And I doe publish this to be my Last will and testamt.
