I give desire and bequeath all the real and personal Estate to which I be entitled at the time of my decease unto my son Burvill Holmes absolutely but as to estates vested in me upon trust or by way of Mortgage subject to the equities affecting the same respectively. And I appoint the said Burvill Holmes sole Executor of this my will hereby revoking all other testamentary writings

The before registered Will of James Holmes deceased was proved the Eleventh day of June 1852 Before the Reverend John Pechey Francis Clerk Surrogate of the Worshipful Travers Steviss Doctor of Laws Commissary General of the City and Diocese of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the Oath of Burvill Holmes Son of the deceased the Sole Executor named in the said Will he being first sworn well and truly to perform the same

James Holmes was christened 6th June 1777, s. of James and Elizabeth Holmes at St. Mary the Virgin, Dover.
James married Maria Burvill 24th September 1800 at St. Mary, Walmer, Kent.

Burville Holmes 22, bachelor of Dover, married Emma Hutchinson, of St. George,
