Item I geve unto Ewart the daughter of Edward Waterman my sonne in lawe my best two yearing heifer
and Marie Waterman his other daughter my next best two yearing heifer
and allso I geve to Thomas Elizabeth and Richard Waterman the residewe of the children of the
said Edward Waterman unto either of them two Sheepe
Allso I will unto Peter Hollnes the sonne of Percivall Hollnes my sonne one other of my two yearing heifers and two sheepe
And I geve unto John Hollnes his other sonne one xij monething heiffer
and likewise I geve Elisabeth Joane and Rose Hollnes children of the said Percivall unto wither of them two sheepe
Also I geve unto John Hollnes the son of John Holnes my sonne one xij monethinge heiffer and two sheepe
Allso I give unto John Preston Susanna Preston Robert Preston and Daniell Preston the children of Robert Preston my sonne in lawe late of Woodchurch deceased unto either of them Fortie shillinges of good and currante monie of Englande to bee paid and delvrd [delivered] unto Edward Waterman my Sonne in lawe within eighte monethes after my decease conditionallye that the said Edward Waterman or [his] assignes shall at the time of the receipte of the said monie putt in Sufficient Bonde unto my Executors hereafter mentconed to imploy the said monie with the proffitt thereof coming And to paie it unto the said children when they shall come to their severall ages of Sixteene Yeares and my will is that of any of them do happen to die before their said ages then my will is [the] survivors of them shalbe the others heire
And further I will unto my daughter Edward Waterman�s wiffe my best redd Cowe with a withe [white?] face and my Black
cowe with a white face
And I will unto Percivall Hollnes my Sonne one white pide [pied] cowe conditionallie that he
shall pay for hir within one moneth after my decease Fourtie shillinges
Allso I will unto Edward Waterman my sonne in lawe my little boy mare that is nowe in his Keeping
And I will unto my said Sonne John Hollnes his wiffe my white cowe
And I geve unto my Sonne Percivall my old mare
And I will unto Marie Harte my Sevannte three shillings fower pence
And I will unto the aged and most poor impotente people of Beathersden tenne shillings fower pence to bee distributed amongest them within one monethe after my decease at the discrascon [discretion] of Thomas Gibbon and Isaac Brissenden
And I will unto Percivall Hollnes my sonne and to Edward Waterman my Sonne in lawe my two best featherbedds withe the steedles and all other thinges belonging unto them and [as] they have bene usallie occupied
All the residewe of my moveable goodes, corne and cattles unbequeathed excepte my lease
lande that I have of Mr Fleete my debtes and legacies being first paid I will it to bee equallie
devided betweene my Sonnes Percivall and John Hollnes
And I doe ordaine my Sonnes Percivall and John Hollnes to bee my executors idenfeld? [indemnified?] together of this my
p�sent testament and last will to pay my debtes and to see my will proved accordin unto my
minde and I do geve them for their paines taking my lease of the lands that I do have of Mr. Fleete
This is the last will of me the afforesaid John Hollnes and my me personalie declared for the distribucon of my landes
First I will and bequeath all and singlir [singular] my landes and Tenementes in Beathersden afforesaid to bee had to my sonne John Hollnes and to his heires in fee simple for ever conditonallie that the said John Hollnes my sonne or his heires or assignes shall paie or cuase to be paied unto Percivall Hollnes my Sonne the some of three score poundes of good and lawfull Englishe mony at three severall paimentes that is to saie twentie poundes p�cell of the three score powndes to bee paid within one yeare next after my decease and the other twentie powndes p�cell of the said three score powndes to bee paid within two yeares after my decease and the other twentie powndes being the third and last paimente of the said three score powndes to bee paid within three yeares next after my decease unto my said Sonne Percivall his heires executors or assignes
and if it shall happen that the aforesaid three score powndes or any pte or pcell [part of parcel] thereof to bee behinde and unpaid at such time or times as it before appointed to bee paid that then and from thence forth it shalbe lawfull for my said Sonne Percivall his heires or assignes to enter in and uppon all my said landes and tenements in Beathersden afforesaid and the one halfe of my said landes and tenements and everie pte and pcell thereof to bee had to the said Percivall Hollnes his heires and assignes in fee simple for ever anie thing in this my will before menconed to the contrarie nothwithstanding
