In the Name of God Amen I James Homewood of Pluckley in the Countie of Kent Yeoman beinge sicke and weake in bodie but sound in mynde and of perfect memorie doe make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament.
First I resign my Soule to God that gave itt hopeing that out of his infinite Mercye and Intercession for the merits of Jesus Christ my Saviour hee will pardon my manifold sinnes and receive mee though most unworthy into those joys prepared before the world began for them that serve and heare him, my Bodie I will shall be buried att Pluckley aforesaid. And for my worldlie Effects I dispose thereof as followethe.

First and before all other thinges I will that my debts shall bee paid by my Executrixe hereafter named.
Item I give unto Katherine Hart my sister forty shillinges.
Item I give unto Sarah and Anne Hart her daughters to each the sume of fiftie shillinges.
Item I give to Alexander Hart her sonne the sume of tenne poundes.
Item I give to the children of my Sister Philpot to each of them forty shillinges.
Item I give to the children of Nicholas Homewood my Brother to each of them twentie shillinges.

All which Legacies I will shall bee paied within one yeare after my decease
these Legacyes beinge discharged and my debts beinge paide All the Reste of my goodes and chattels whatsoever whether Reall or Personall I give and bequeath unto my Loveinge Friend Frances Nettlham of Pluckley aforesaid and I doe make and ordaine the said Frances Nettlham sole Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament.

And further I doe give and bequeath all those my two tenements with their Orchards and all other appurtenances whatsoever Iyeinge in Egerton in the Countie of Kent and nowe in the occupacon of Henry Adams and John Knock or their Assignes unto the said Frances Nettlham her Heyers and Assignes forever.

This is the Last Will and Testament of me James Homewood
In Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my Hand and Seale the tenth Day of March in the Yeare of Our Lord according to the computation nowe used in England one thousand sixe hundred and fiftie eight. The mark of James Homewood
