Notes:
Gideon Homes, Bachelor, married Susanna Brooman, Spinster, on 2nd May 1725 at St. John the Baptist, Margate.
Susanah Brooman was christened there 18th November 1694, d. of John and Mary.
I have found but one child of this marriage: John Homes christened 22nd April 1726 at Margate to
Gideon and Susanna but John dies and is buried there shortly afterwards on 15th November 1726.
Susan(na) Homes, Widow, was buried at St. John the Baptist, Margate on 9th March 1741, aged 47 years.
The entry reads buried in a vault ordered by her to be made for herself and family.
Gideon Homes pre-deceased Susan(na), but I do not know where he is buried. He left a Will:
PROB 11/694/444 Gideon Homes of London, Mariner now bound on a voyage to sea, dated 31 Mar 1729. Gideons Will
was proved on 28th February 1738/9.
