as to my funeral I leave it entirely at the discretion of my dear Wife Frances Hope
and my Will is and I do hereby direct that all my just debts which I shall owe to any person
or persons at the time of my decease together with my funeral expences and the charges of proving this my will be well and truly paid so soon
after my decease as conveniently may be by my Executrix hereinafter named
And as to all my Worldly Estate household goods and furniture live and dead stock as a farmer implements of husbandry and husbandry tackle cattle chattels and effects And other my Personal Estate of every kind and description that I may be possessed of interested in or entitled unto at the time of my decease I give and bequeath the same and every part or parcel thereof unto my said dear Wife Frances Hope to hold to her my said Wife for and during the term of her natural life placing full and implicit confidence and reliance in her and not in the least doubting but that she will apply and manage the same to the best advantage in her power and it is my mind and will to leave it so in order that she my said Wife may in no wise be accountable or subject to the control or intermeddling of my Daughters hereinafter named or either of them or their or either of their husband or husbands on their or either of their account respecting the same or any part thereof in any manner howsoever
and from and immediately after the decease of her my said Wife I give and bequeath the same personal estate goods chattels and effects and every part thereof with the accumulation and what remains of any diminution thereof and as the same may vary or alter unto and amongst my said Daughters Mary Sarah Frances Elizabeth and Lydia equally to be divided between them share and share alike and their respective receipt alone to be a discharge for the same and not to be subject to the control debts or engagements of their respective husband or husbands with the benefit of survivorship
but in the event of the death of one or more of them my said Daughters before my said Wife leaving issue of her or their body or bodies then and in such case it is my will and meaning that the share or shares of her or them so dying leaving issue as aforesaid shall go to and be divided unto and amongst such issue as well sons as daughters and also as well legitimate as illegitimate share and share alike on his her or their attainment to the age of twenty one years with benefit of survivorship
and I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said wife Frances Hope Executrix of this my Will hereby revoking and making void all former will or wills by me at any time heretofore made and do declare this only to be my last Will and Testament
In Witness whereof I the said William Hope the testator have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and seal this seventh day
of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty one Wm Hope
