In the name of God Amen The eyght daye of Januarye in the yeare of our lord Jesus Chryst a Thousand fyve hund[red] threescore and fyve and in eyght yeare of the Rayne of Quene Elyzabeth [1565/6]
I Kateryne Hoorne of Charinge in the County of Kent gent[lewoman] Late the Wyfe of Hennry Horne Late of Ken[a]rdington in the sayd County Esquire deceased, beinge of whole mynd and pfyt [perfect] Remembrance all prayse and thankes be Unto God therefore make thys my Testament and last will in manner and forme followinge
Fyrst I bequeth my Sowell unto all myghty God, and my bodye to thearth to be buryed in the Churche of Botton Alouphe [Boughton Aluph] in the aforsayd Counntye besyd my Husband

Allso I bequeth to Benet Horne my daughter a sylver salte and syx sylver Spones and allso my aggletts [anklets] of gaulde
Allso I bequeth to Alyce Tourney my Syster my gowne of grograyne Sylke, and my whyte damaske kertyll
Allso I bequethe to my Syster Amey Moyle my blacke damaske gowne and Red damaske kyrtyll
Allso I bequeth to the poore of the paryshe of Charinge tenne shillinges

Thys is the Laste Will of me the sayd Kateryne Horne made the daye and yeare aforsayd

Fyrst I will that where Henry Horne Late my Husbande by hys last Will and testament assigned me for the payment of hys debtes and p[er]formance of hys last will and testament to sell certayne Landes Lyinge in Kenerton aforsayd and all hys woodes lynge wthin the counntye of Kent or ells where
I will that Benett Moyle my mother and Thomas Torney my Brother shall sell the forsayd landes and wooddes for the payment of the aforsayd debts and p[er]formance of the last will and testament of thaforsayd Henry Horne Late my Hosband

And the overplus of the monye that remeynith of the sale of the aforsayd Lande and woodes, the debts beinge payd and will p’formed I will shall be payd to Benet Horne my daughter when she cometh to thage of eyghtene yeares by the aforsayd Benet Moyle my mother and Thomas Torney my brother
The which Thomas and Benet I make my Executors of thys my testament and Last will
