I Salmon Hougham of the p[ar]ishe of Preston besyde Wigham beyng of hole mynde make my testament in this wise
First I bequeith my soule to Almyghty God to oure Lady Saynt Mary to Saynt Mildred and to all the holy compny of hevyn my bodye to be buryed yn the chirche of Prston afo=sayd

Also I bequeith to the hygh Autr [altar] there for my tithes forgoten vjs viiijd
Also to the pavyng of the same churche yarde xxs
Also to the byeyng of one blake [black] vestament xiijs iiijd
Also at the day of my burieng x [10] masses, at my monethes day x masses, at the yeres day x masses

Also I bequeith to the hugh Autr of Elmeston churche xxd
And to the pavyng of the same churche vjs viiijd
Also I bequeith to the high Autr in Ashe churche xxd
And to the same churche a cowe to kepe an obett onysayers the vth day of August of the ferme [farm] of the same cowe to the valewe xvjd
The residue to the Wardens of the churche to se[e] it don[e]
Also L [50] Loods of Gravell to be layed in foule ways xxv lods at Waar? and xxv at Tasapende?

Also to evry of my god children one busshell of barley
Also I bequeith to Johan my daughtr xls
Also to Salmon my son iijli vjs viijd [£3 6s 8d]
And if the said Salmon or Johan decesse before the age of xiiij yeres then I wull that theyre mode [mother] shalhave theyre Legacy and she to dispose hit among my sonnys [sons] aftr her destretion

Also I bequeith to Nicholas Cranebroke my brodre [brother] a bullok of one yere of age and a seme of wheate
And unto his son my godson a Lambe and an ewe

This is the Last Will of me Salmon Hougham made the day and yere above sayde

First I will that Stephen my son shalhave my ten[emen]t at We[n]derton wth the Lands (be)longyng thereto
Also I wull that Thomas my son shalhave my tent at Well [next Wingham] with the garden (be)longyng thereto

Also I wull that Willm. my son shalhave my tent wth the garden lyeng at Mare if he can enjoy it And if nott I will that his modre [mother] shall pay unto hym Vjli iijs iiijd [£6 3s 4d] And Stephen my son shalpay xs

Also I will that my sonnes shalkepe an obett yerely in the moneth of August in the churche of Preston for my soule and all cristen and they shall bestowe ijs as folowith and Stephen my son xijd and Thomas & Willm. evry of theyme vjd

And iff any of my sonnys decesse wtowt heires than I wull that one shalbe the others heyrs and if they all decesse wtowt heyres of theire bodeis Lawfully begotten than I wull that Johan my doughtr have the tent. at Weddynten, and all those other tents shalbe solde to the moste value at the discrecion of myn executors my detts and bequests payde I geve and bequieth unto Agnes my wiff

the whiche Agnes and Willm Lewes I orden and make myn executors of this my Last will and testament
And I geve unto Willm. Lewes for his Labor xxs
