In the Name of God Amen I MARGARET HOUSEMAN of Barrow in the County of Lincoln Widow not knowing the day of my Death having my memory perfect make this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following.
Imprimus I give my soul to God from whom I received it trusting that through the Merits of Jesus Christ he will save it and my body by Christian Buriall I bequeath to the Earth until the generall resurrection.
And as for the worldly Estate and goods which God hath given me I dispose thereof in manner following.

Imprimus I give to JAMES MATSON the Son of my Brother JAMES MATSON fifty pounds to be paid six months after my decease.
Item I give to my Cousin ROBERT MATSONs Widow and children one hundred pounds to be distributed amongst them as my Executors think convenient.
Item I give to ANNE the Widow of WILLIAM BENNINTON who was Tidewaiter at Hull the sum of fifty pounds to be paid three months after my decease.
Item I give to ROBERT MATSON and his Wife and eight children the sum of twenty shillings apiece to be paid six months after my decease.

Item I give to REBECKA BARTON my Servant who hath lived with me for many years one hundred pounds be paid six months after my decease.
Item I give to the Poor of Barrow five pounds.

Item I make CHRISTOPHER MATSON NATHANIEL MATSON and HENRY MATSON my three Brothers joint Executors of this my last Will and Testament requiring them when my Debts Legacies and Funeral Charges are paid to divide the Remainder of my whole Estate equally betwixt themselves and my Husbands relations be it Land or Goods as Plate or Money. And I give most to them that stand most need.

And if there be any benefit of Mr. HENRY HOUSEMANs Will or my Sonnes Wifes portion I require that she shall receive the full halfe thereof.

In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal the 5th Day of February 1716. MARGARET HOUSEMAN.
