Imprimis I give and devise unto my loveing wife Mary all that messuage or tenement Brewhouse and
appurtenances wherein I now dwell To have and to hold the same unto my said wife and her Assignes
for and dureing the terme of her naturall life
And from and after the decease of my said wife I give and devise the said messuage or tenement &
pr�misses unto my son John How and his heires & assignes for ever
Item I give and devise unto my said loveing wife Mary all those my two small messuages or tenements
with their appurtenances scituate lying and being in Stone Street near Wrenns Crosse now in the
occupacon of Matthew Kite and Anthony Freeman To have and to hold the same unto my said wife and
her assignes for and dureing the residue of her naturall life
And from and after the decease of my said wife I give and devise the said messuages or tenements and
premisses unto my Granddaughter Elizabeth Whetstone & to her heires and assignes for ever
Item I give and devise unto my loveing son John How and to his heires for ever all that messuage or
tenement wherein he now dwells together with the oasthouse & peece of land thereunto belonging And
alsoe all those two little messuages or tenements thereunto adjoining now in the occupacon of Robert
Grinsted & David Gatfeild
And all that my messuage or tenement scituate lying and being in Stone
Street near unto Wm Randolph Esq. now in the occupacon of Charles Brookes
And allsoe all those my four acres of Hopp ground lying and being in Moat lane in the parish of Maidstone adjoyneing to the
lands of Sr Robert Marsham Barrt and the stock of Hoppoles belonging to the same
Item I give and bequeath unto my said loveing son John How my silver Tankard and my two Gold Rings which I now wear
Item I give and bequeath unto my said loveing wife Mary all the household Goods and Implements of
Household stuffe in my now dwelling house such as my linnen plate (except the Tankard) Pewter Bedds
Hanging vessells & such other things as are used in my said House for house keeping to dispose of the same as she shall think fitt
Except the second best bedd and the furniture thereto belonging which after the decease of my said wife I give to my son John How
And all the rest of my Estate Goods Chattles Hopps & personall Estate whatsoever after my Debts
legacies and funerall Expences being first satisfied and paid I give & bequeath unto my said sonn John
How whome I doe hereby make and constitute full & sole Executor of this my last Will & Testament
And I doe hereby revoake all former Wills by me made
In Witnesse whereto I have to this my last Will & Testament contained in two sheets of paper to each
sheet sett my hand & seale the day and yeare above written
