In the name of God Amen the vth daye of March in the yeare of or Lord God 1612
I Edith Huffam of the parrishe of Norborne in the Countye of Kent widdowe beinge of good and perfecte memorye doe revoke all former wills and testaments by me made and hereby doe make my laste will and testament in mannr and forme followeinge
First I bequeath my soule to Almighty God trustinge to be saved by the death and passion of my onely Saviour Jesus Christe, And my body I Comend to the earth from whence yt came

Item I will to the poore of Ashe (next Sandwich) Fortye shillings
Item I give to the poore of Norborne twentye shillings
Item I give to my two daughters Bennett Courtye and Ann Parramore tenn pounds a peece
and to Elizabeth Bateman my daughter twentye pounds

Item I give unto Richard Huffam the sonne of Richard Huffam my sonne all my houshould stuffe that ys in Weddington in the parrishe of Ashe and a dozen of Damaske diaper napkins and a table cloth and a hand towell of the same,
and all the rest of my Lynnen I give unto my three daughters to be equallie devided betweene them, excepte my wearinge lynnen and wollen wch I give to Elizabeth Bateman my daughter
Item I give unto Stephen Huffam my sonn all my plate and after his decease ... ... ..........

Item I will that Elizabeth Bateman my daughter my house and lands barne and stable and fower acres of land more or lesse, Comonlye called Carters, and also six acres of lease land wch I bought of Nicholas Ellis for terme of yeares yet to come for the terme of her naturall lyfe
and after the decease of my said daughter Elizabeth I will the said house, Barne and stable with the fower acres of land unto Stephen Huffam my sonn and to his heires for ever And alsoe the six acres of lease land wch I bought of Nicholas Ellis I will to the said Stephen Huffam and to his heires for evr

I will that Stephen Huffam shall paye unto Valentine Austen my brother the some of fyfte fower pounds [£54 3s 4d] wthin three yeares after my decease

All the rest of my moveable goods my debts paid my legacies performed and my funerall expemces dischardged I will and bequeath unto Stephen Huffam my sonne whome I make executor of this my laste will and testament

Notes:
Edithe Hufam was buried at St. Augustine, Northbourne, Kent on 2nd April 1613.
Edith Austen married Michaell Huffam on 13th July 1556 at Holy Innocents, Adisham, Kent.
Daughter Bennet Huffam married Thomas Courtye 19th July 1575 at St. Nicholas, Ash-next-Sandwich.
Daughter Ann Huffam, Virgin of Ash, married Thomas Paramour of Minster, Thanet, on 27th January 1582/83 at Ash.
Daughter Elizabeth Huffam married Stephen Bateman on 16th June 1579 at All Saints, Biddenden.
Son Steaphen Hufam of Ash married Joane Beke, virgin of Sandwich, on 27th February 1597/98, by Licence, at St. Peter, Sandwich.
