In the name of God Amen The xiijth day of May in the yeare of our Lorde [Latin] 1545.
I Thomas Hunte of Sidingborne Taylor whole off mynde and good remembraunce notwtstanding [not withstanding] sicke of body make this my last will or testament in mannr & forme folowinge
First I bequeth my soule to God Almightie and I desire our blessed Lady wt all the holy compagny of heaven to pry [pray] for me

Item I bequethe to the holy and blessed sacrament for my tithes oblite forgotten to be p(r)ayed for iijs iiijd [3 shillings 4 pence]
Item I bequethe to the churche of Sidingborne xijd
I will at my burying have masse and dirige * wth v preists, and so moche At my monthesday that is to have bestowed at them bothe xiijs iiijd [14 shillings and 4 pence]
Item I will at my buryinge to have bestowed amonge the poore and neady people w'in the prorche [porch] vjs viijd, And so moche at my monthesdaye

Item I bequethe to my sonne Laurence immediatly after my decease naturall the lease of my house as it shall appeare in my lease wt all the hangings thereunto wt a frprase? table and a cupbord in the hall wt a longe Settle and formes
Item to the same a dosen of pewter disshes and a dosen of pewter platters and half a dosen of Sawcers
Item to the same half a dosen candlesticks
Item to the same two latton basons [latten basins] * iiij [4] pewter pottes a brasse pott two ketells a Stuppen, a skillet & Chafinge disshe
Item I bequethe to the same my best bedde wt the sealinge in the plom [parlour] wtall thapparrell [the apparel] thereto belonginge, and an other Fetherbed wt apostes wtall thnges thereto belonging and a flocke bedd wt thappurtenncs
Item to the same my best tableclothe of drarp? wt a towell and iiij [4] napkens two pillowcootes iiij silvr spones and a saltseller

Item I bequethe to my sonne Thoms [Thomas] Hunte my second bedde in the ploms [parlour!] wt all hanginges and all things thereunto belonginge, and all other things parte alike unto my sonne Laurence forsaid

Item I bequeth unto my sonne Henry a Fetherbed and two Flocke beddes in the Cambe [Chamber] and all things thereto belonging and all the hangings in the saide house hath and shall have all thinges porcon like unto Thomas and Laurence.

Item I bequeth to my daughter Jane [blank space] wch she hath and shall have like unto Henry aforsaid
Item I bequeath to my Sonnes Henry and Thomas all my rayment wt myne owne apparell betwixt them bothe

Item I do bequeth to John Frognall my sonne in lawe iijs iiijd whom also I do ordeyn and make myn Executor to see this my present will fulfilled and discharged
And Supvisor hereof I do make John Jacob; And he to have for his labour and payne iijs iiijd

* A dirige is a Roman Catholic service for the dead.
* Latton [latten] referred loosely to the copper alloys such as brass or bronze that appeared in the Middle Ages and through to the late 18th and early 19th centuries.
