The Last will and testament nuncupative of James Hunt late of Sittingbourne in the Countie of Kent dec[ease]d By him uttered and declared in the time of a sicknes wch hee was nursed in or about the moneth of August in the yeare of our Lord 1648 hee being then in sound and perfect memorie in these or the like words and in the manner and upon the occasion following (that is to say)

Mr. Edward Garland the then Minister of that parish being sent for to come and counsel him the said Mr. Garland after other Competence? had with him for the Comfit [Comfort] of his soule likewise him to make his will or dispose of his owne accord wch testamentary witnesed as the witnesses present Counselled said

I give all I have to my wife and her two children
And I make her my Executrix shee paying to my other three chyldren wch I had by my seconde wife fourtie shillings apeece

There being then present together and witnesses of the promisses the said Mr. Edward Garland and Ellen the wife of Wyatt Cheston

Probatum fuit: 15th May 1650.
