This is the Last Will and Testament of me John Hunt the Elder of Lenham in the County of Kent, Wheelwright
First I hereby revoke and make void all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made and I declare this only to be and contain my whole and entire last Will and Testament
And as for and concerning all such temporal Estate as it hath please God to bestow upon me, I give and dispose thereof as followeth (that is to say)

I Give and devise All and every my Messuages, Lands, Tenements and Hereditaments whatsoever and wheresoever either in possession, reversion, remainder or expectancy unto my Grandson William Hunt (Son of my Son John Hunt of Lenham aforesaid, Wheelwright) his Heirs and Assignes for ever

I give and bequeath to my said Son John Hunt and my Grandchildren Stephen, John and William Hunt the Sum of One shilling each of good and lawful Money of Great Britain

And as to all the rest, residue and remainder of my Goods, Chattels, Effects and personal Estate of what nature or kind soever & not hereintofore given and bequeathed (after payment of my just Debts, funeral expences, the charges of proving this my Will and other incident charges which I do hereby order and direct to be first paid thereout, and in case my said personal Estate shall not be sufficient to pay and satisfy the whole thereof, then I do hereby charge my Real Estate with the payment of the deficiency) I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my said Grandson the said William Hunt (the Son of my said Son John Hunt) absolutely.

And I do hereby nominate,make, constitute and appoint my said Grandson, the said William Hunt (the Son of my said Son John Hunt) Sole Executor of this my Will

In Witness whereof I the said John Hunt (the Elder) the Testator unto this my last Will and Testament contained in this One Sheet of paper, have set my Hand and Seal this second day of May and in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Eighty

Signed, sealed, published and Declared by the said John Hunt the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other haves subscribed our Names as Witnesses thereunto

Probate : March ye 28th 1789 William Hunt the sole Executor herein named was Sworn to the truth and faithful performance hereof and as usual and that the deceased�s Effects will not amount to �20
