This is the Last Will and Testament of me Basil Hunt of Lenham in the County of Kent, Carpenter
First I hereby revoke and make void all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made and I declare this only to be and contain my whole and entire last Will and Testament
And as for and concerning all such temporal Estate as it hath please God to bestow upon me, I give and dispose thereof as followeth (that is to say)

In the first place I will and direct that all my just Debts and the Expences of my funeral which I desire may be as frugal and private as possible, be fully paid and satisfied
And I give and bequeath unto my Son Richard Hunt and to my two Daughters, Mary the Wife of Charles Badger and Susannah the Wife of Richard Smith, the sum of Ten pounds apiece of lawful Money of Great Britain to be paid to them respectively by my Executrix hereinafter named, within one month next after my decease
Also I give and bequeath to my said Son Richard Hunt my Silver Watch marked with my Name to be delivered to him by may said Executrix immediately after my decease

Also I give and bequeath unto Stephen Brenchley, the Son of my present Wife, the Silver Watch I have lent to him and the sum of five pounds of like lawful Money to be paid to him by my said Executrix within one Month next after my Decease

And I give and Devise to my Daughter Elizabeth Hunt and to her Heirs and Assigns for ever All that my Messuage or Tenement and premises with the appurtenances thereunto belonging situate, lying and being at Lifferton Street in the parish of Lenham aforesaid in the County of Kent and now in the Occupation of (blank) Medhurst or his Assigns

Also I give and devise unto my dear and loving Wife Dinah Hunt and to her heirs and Assigns for ever All those my new built Messuages or Tenements, buildings, Land and premises with the appurtenances situate, lying and being in the Town of Lenham aforesaid and all and every other my Messuages, Lands, Tenements and hereditaments whatsoever and wheresoever, situate, lying or being whereof I am seized or entitled to any Estate of freehold or Inheritance in possession, reversion, remainder or expectancy

And I give, devise and bequeath All the Rest, Residue and Remainder of my Goods, Chattels and personal Estate, Stock in trade of every kind, Monies and Securities for Money, Credits and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever (after payment of all my just Debts, funeral Expences and the above mentioned Lagacies and bequests) unto my said Wife Dinah Hunt to and for her own proper and absolute use and benefit

And I nominate, Constitute and appoint my said Wife Dinah Hunt sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament

In witness whereof I the said Basil Hunt to this my last Will and Testament contained in one Sheet of paper, have set my hand and seal the Fourth day of June in the Year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred and ninety five

Signed, Sealed, Published and Declared by the said Basil Hunt as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our Names as Witnesses
William Smart of Charing in Kent, Attorney at Law and his clerks George Gates & Weller Norwood

Probate : 30th June 1801 Dinah Hunt, widow, the Relict and sole Executrix named in this Will was duly sworn as usual and that the Goods, Chattels & Credits do not amount in value to the sum of One hundred Pounds
